Anyone who would describe the Liar In Chief as brilliant and dazzling, must drink Kool Aid by the gallon. Either that, or he's doing it to make ends meet. I'll give you this much though, removing the secrecy from medical billing is a good idea and long overdue.
Jim, it's been really howling wind here too. I'm a little worried when it blows like this because my house is surrounded by a lot of tall trees. The ones that worry me the most are the 75 foot Loblolly Pines. They seem to act like lightning rods being so tall. A couple of years ago one along my driveway got hit by lightning and it blew the bark off. Of course that killed the tree and I had to cut it down before it fell on my house.
Hey Chat, They are still for sale on Amazon $139.00. When my hair starts getting too long I just walk out to the garage, give myself a haircut, takes about 10 minutes and go back in the house. I don't even have to start the car up. If you had a lot of kids just think of the money you could save by giving them free haircuts. Too bad my mother didn't know about this.
I haven't gone to a barber in over 10 years. I cut my own hair using a Flowbee and my Shop vac. The time & money I save has paid for the Flowbee at least 10X over.
LaFonda•Dec 28•Irving, Texas USA "U.S. voters voted for Trump although they knew all of his evil deeds and getto behavior.
I think that says a lot about the VOTERS."
No, that says a lot about a corrupt, antiquated system. More VOTERS chose Hillary Clinton than Donald Trump. If you count up the votes she got compared to Trump, she should be in the White House, not the criminal that's in there smelling up the place right now. If more American voters wanted Clinton, why is she not the President right now? Because the system is rigged, that's why!
The American people should decide who gets the job as President and that includes you and me, not a bunch of freekin politicians.
My ex GF has the Affordable Care Act or ACA "Obamacare". In 1990 she had a horrific accident when she made a left turn on a 4 land divided highway. She was a new driver and it was a very tricky intersection because there was a hill between the north & southbound lanes. Only a very experienced driver who knew how to stop on a hill and get going again could safely negotiate such an intersection. She was T-Boned by a tractor trailer. She survived the crash but she was left with seizures from a concussion. The doctor seized her drivers license. She is a cashier at a big variety store on the other end of town and she takes public transportation to work & back or she gets a ride from her cousin. She takes some very expensive RX seizure meds and if she lost her health care she would have to quit her job because she couldn't afford private medical insurance. Heartless Republicans who gleefully try to overturn Obamacare, never think of the people who would be severely hurt by losing even a low quality form of medical coverage like the ACA. If she can't get her anti seizure medication, she can't work. I guess she would join the tens of 1,000's of ACA recipients who would lose coverage and go on Welfare. Is that what you want?
I'm a little confused about this left side, right side, business. There's a famous painting of the last supper by Da Vinci which shows JC and all his boys pigging out, does this mean all the guys on his left are no good and the ones on his right are acceptable?
In 1954, 2 words were added to the pledge, you know what they are. From that time onward I said the pledge because I was in school and the pledge was recited daily. When I came to those added words I was silent.
I agree, The whole thing was like watching a slow motion movie, the car never got up much speed, just enough jump that little tree. Today Steven can brag that he drove a 1974 Dodge Dart when he was 3 years old, from the back seat no less.
Fortunately the engine was only at idle which enabled the cop to open the door and jump in the car and stop it.
Years ago we lived in a townhouse in KY, and my then wife came home from grocery shopping. She stopped in front of our house with the car in park and was carrying a bag of groceries into the house. The parking lot was a hill with the car facing downhill. My son Steven, age 3 at the time, was in the car. I was behind the car about to grab another bag of groceries to bring in the house when Steven started to play with the gearshift lever and pulled it out of "PARK". I saw Steven in a panic jump into the back seat as the car started rolling down the hill toward a row of houses. I ran after it but before I caught up to it, it ran into a small tree, about 3" diameter knocking it over and landing on top of it. I tried backing the car off the tree but it was stuck pretty good. I had to call a tow truck to pull the car off the bent over tree. It was lucky the young tree was there or the damage to both my car and the house would have been much worse.
RE: An America I was reminded about today
Your friend was from the Bronx so he was probably a Democrat.
