Here's another one a lot of old timers will probably remember. The Happy Wanderer This song was especially popular in the NYC neighborhood I grew up in known as "Germantown"
While technically not Rock & Roll, this song was extremely popular in 1955. I actually had a copy of this record on a 78 RPM disc. I have no clue what became of that record.
It's hard to believe today but this was an extremely popular song from the mid 50's. What makes it even more amazing is much of it isn't even in English.
Having had Covid are you now immune? That would be a bonus. BTW do you have any idea how or from whom you contracted covid? It sounds like you dodged a bullet.
Oooooh I think you mean TDS not DTS. Now I get it. BTW, I know a lot but I admit I don't know it all. Life would be a gigantic bore if I knew everything. I love it when I learn something new. Just today I was remembering when I learned how to replace the ring gear on a flywheel when I was about 18 years old.
So, will you be looking for a driving job? Where will you be driving if you get it? In Denmark I assume. Which side of the road do you drive in Denmark? Would the truck be RH or LH drive?
Did I read you right? You don't have a license to drive a car until you pass this test?
If Kyle Rittenhouse was a black guy instead of a sniveling baby faced white guy crying like a baby on the stand, he would be on his way to state prison to start serving a life sentence with no possibility of parole right now.
I have 2 connections to Kenosha WI. I worked for several years for a Rambler dealership as an auto mechanic. Ramblers were made in Kenosha. I also went to Kenosha once to meet what would be my future employer who I would work for over 10 years. My recollection of the city was it's a boring little mid-west town.
At his core Joe Manchin is a DINO. The Democratic party wouldn't lose a minute's sleep if Joe Manchin switched his affiliation to the Republican party. Good riddance I say.
I'm wondering if someone on the gun crew thought it would be funny if he put a live round in the gun just for the thrill of it. Maybe too, he had a relationship with the deceased that went bad and he saw it as a way to get even while making it look like an accident or someone else taking the blame for it.
Big Sherlock Holmes fan here, in fact I helped solve a crime once using deductive reasoning years ago.
Yep, it's a Yellowjacket, member of the Wasp & Hornet family. Like most Hornets they don't just sting you once but jab you multiple times which is what makes their sting so painful.
One day when I was 11 years old I didn't feel like going to school so I decided to play hookie. I was living on 85th St off 2nd Ave in the “Yorkville” neighborhood of Manhattan in NYC and decided to take a walk down 2nd ave for no particular reason. I got to 79th St and on the SW corner there was a movie theater. The Marque said M 5 that's all. I went to the cashier and asked WTH was M5. The lady said it was the name of 2 movies they were showing at the time, “M” and the other was 5 or “Five”. She said do you want a ticket? I said “Sure, but I don't have any money.” I guess she felt sorry for me so she gave me a free ticket and I went in and sat down. Well. I was blown away by these 2 movies. M is of course the classic crime drama starring Peter Lorre.
RE: Tiger incident
How many Tigers are there on Earth? How many people are there on Earth?
Seems like a no brainer to me. Lose a valuable endangered species or lose an idiot.
