Why should anyone living in an Underground Bunker, in Eastern, Fiji care about the economy of a country halfway around the globe? Do you have a TV in that bunker? Maybe a radio at least? How's the reception? I'm assuming you have an antenna up in a tree right?

Mosquito season has arrived in the USA

"I have rain barrels, covered with net. I have a tub pool and a frog pond. Daily use a butterfly net to scoop out lava. I love to hear them cry and scream as they die. But, since I live along a river and have a farm, doesn't do much good. They are horrid right now"

You must have some keen hearing to hear Mosquito Larva cry and scream. I doubt a Mosquito would ever lay her eggs in a river not to mention the fish would have a feast. I would think frogs would dine on the larva also. BTW I've used goldfish to keep rain barrels free of larva. They scoop them up, spit them out and scoop them up again sort of like a game they play with them.
When I started using a bucket trap I noticed a decrease in the Mosquito population around my house.
I had a Mosquito in the house since yesterday cause I left the top bathroom window wide open all night, no screen. I felt something stinging my ankles today and I managed to catch it, she's cooling off in my freezer right now. I plan to take her picture with my USB Microscope later.

I think there'll be a large turnout of Republicans voting against Trump because they aren't blind, and they can see how he's damaging their party and their image. There'll be another large group of Republicans who simply wont bother to vote. This way nobody can blame them for the talk show host failing to con the people into making the same mistake twice. Like the old saying;

Trump mentioned what he termed “the Chinese virus” nearly 10 minutes into his remarks and gave himself high marks for his response to it, emphasizing the steps he took to shore up the price of oil. “It looked like we were in big trouble, and I got it together,” Trump said, adding that he had called the leaders of Russia and Saudi Arabia and “got our energy back to almost $40 a barrel."

Trump told his crowd that “I have done a phenomenal job” with the pandemic, pointing to the number of COVID-19 tests administered in the U.S. to date. But he also complained that more testing had revealed more cases of the disease caused by coronavirus.

“When you do testing to that extent, you’re going to find more people, you’re going to find more cases. So I said to my people, ‘Slow the testing down, please.’ They test and they test,” Trump said. He then imitated a public health official examining a patient, “If you have the sniffles, it’s a case!”

Turning to the Black Lives Matter protests that have erupted since the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police, Trump derided the demonstrators as “anarchists” and accused the media of hypocrisy for expressing concern over the health risks presented by his rallies but not the protests.

Health experts have warned that the virus spreads most easily in crowded indoor spaces.

On defense after weeks of falling poll numbers and a blizzard of negative media coverage, Trump spent more than 10 minutes attempting to explain why he had trouble descending a ramp following a graduation speech at West Point Military Academy. “It was like an ice skating rink,” Trump said of the ramp, adding that the leather soles of his dress shoes were slippery.

“I can’t fall with the fake news watching,” Trump said he told a general who helped guide him down the ramp.

Trump also addressed scrutiny of his difficulty bringing a bottle of water to his lips during the West Point speech, explaining that he had saluted so many of the cadets that his arm was tired.

“I don’t want to get water on the tie,” Trump added, the recounting of the ramp and the water bottle eating up more than 10 minutes of his speech.

I read where this Rashid has an extended criminal record including several other assaults of this nature. What kind of a name is Rashid anyway? I know what would have happened to him if he did this to an old lady on my block when I was growing up in Manhattan. We would have danced the Tarantella on his face.

This is a recording of FDR from 1933 at the height of the Great Depression talking to the American people about a very difficult subject, the Banking system at a time when the world was in panic mode. You're lucky Jenny. Maybe it's too cold for them where you live?
Another thing you can do which may help lower the Mosquito population a little is to get a Hummingbird feeder. While Fly's are a Hummer's main source of protein I've heard that Hummers will also dine on Mosquitoes. I will check with a friend who bands Hummingbirds as a past time just to be sure.
