Ai Ai....ever notice how wisdom always seems to come only after we needed it. Only after you have lost someone very dear do you realise how fragile and fleeting life really is and how silly to waste what precious time you have with those you hold close to your heart by living a life switched off to those small things that bring happiness and joy to your life.
@Luke... Oh my word not only is the water tank over flowing but I feel like a drowned kitty with all this rain and flooding everywhere... ...and its so bitterly cold I feel like a frozen popsicle... seriously need a bit of warming...
On a more serious note I must confess I enjoy housework and having an organised, neat and tidy environment. However these days I'm finding it more and more difficult to get to as there seems to be endless distractions and many other more enjoyable activities to occupy my time.
@Luke.... just when you think compassion has became redundant you see a story such as this and feel hope and joy rise within you believing that there is still some decency and care left in this world.
Sad though how negative past experiences regarding the handing out of charity colours our judgement of others
Perhaps it is a good thing not to be allowed to comment on some blogs as often one is tempted to say many things one would only land up regretting later on?..
@Cat my eldest daughter although having a high IQ has battled all her life with dyslexia and I'm extremely careful not to correct the way people spell or write as I am overly aware of how negatively it can effect some.
RE: So Beautiful....
Hi my Lukie.....love the splendour and colours of these birds but none of them have a patch on my ol'e Buddy Boy...
