You missed the point...it is not J. Biden's problem...
The grandparents have no rights regarding visitation and need permission from the parents...in this case I imagine this would be the mother's decision...
It is not that simple...The son probably wouldn't know who he had sex with considering he admitted he was using drugs at the time...take into consideration the position and the wealth of J. Biden...there could be many false accusations made for monetary gain or other motivations...also consider the fact that his son did not believe the child was his in the beginning...awkward and difficult to navigate for any potential grandparent...
Biden is not responsible for his son's actions...he is an adult...
It is quite worrisome to see him not be able to speak...it could be a TIA...a minor stroke affecting the speech area in the brain...he had multiple falls and a concussion according to the news reports...perhaps this is related...he needs medical attention but that is jmo...

Actually he was given an honorable discharge...he was known to have previous problems in preying on young girls on the internet...he was caught trying to meet with a 16 year old girl...the charge was dismissed and the record sealed after serving 6 months of pre-trial probation around 2001......then it happened again in 2009...he was given prison time...obviously you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink!!
