Harvard's contact with the Chinese results still mostly states the obvious. The very young and the very old mostly afflicted with the occasional in between death.
It's harvard taking up new studies. The very "data" they're lacking is exactly what I've been saying. We don't know how many have actually been infected and recovered. We only have the current data from the known gloom and doom being preached, with a small model reflecting the opposite.
If it's being considered that we might have another seasonal virus, continual fear mongering isn't going to help. We already know demonrats are never here to help.
They didn't seem to like it when I would call them out for not letting others speak, and few harsh "corrections". They didn't thin out because of me. I just don't see the need to be so stupidly vicious.

Just as most media, they didn't stick to the potential treatment, didn't give full background on what brought it to the attention of the U.S., nor the countries that have also considered it's usefulness and why. They make sure to add the people dumb enough to try anything not made for the purpose. Gotta get that death thing in there.
My ex-wife is a nurse. I'm not a stranger to methods of containment and such.
These drugs even in prescription can cause harm. Like any thing else, it's not going to work the same for every one. Like pneumonia and flu treatments, it has the larger capacity to fight and recover.
We don't have nay thing for any virus that guarantees against death. We never will. THAT is what would truly be "hiking".
Check Italy's demographics. It's said to be the second oldest population. Combine that with other health issues for many. I'm not certain they have their actual demographics straightened out. They used a lot of "lumps" that could be broken down more clearly.
So far at least 21 states have closed non-essential jobs and work. Maybe more by now. Still, it seems all are pretty much asking people to stay home.
I don't watch the sky much beyond a potential warning of weather to come.
Nothing worse than listening to a local weather forecaster on the radio touting sunny and nice while it's actually drizzling and chilled with cloud cover.
One day, one of those comets may not be "driving by". Or worse, something might cause it to change course. Would we speculate extra terrestrial? Maybe catch what changed it in the act?
Either way, one day it could be bad instead of potentially "interesting".

Yes, there is a lot of success being touted from the, already FDA approved, drugs being mentioned. Make sure it's prescribed by a doctor and NOT something laying around with the products in them.
Yes. Even though the media and politicians love to tout death, the actual recovery rates and people never knowing they're infected at all, are much higher.
We need to get back to normalcy before all those new "policies" from congress kill us in different manners.
It's in testing now by WHO around the globe. It's supposed to be in testing in new york as of today.
Another report points to a doctor in new york boasting 100% success treating about 350 patients.
There are other reports from other countries also touting success. Probably why it's in global testing now.
It's stated what's being tried and tested. Nothing wrong with that. They ARE already FDA approved. They should be administered as prescribed by a doctor.
So far nothing points to a false hope. Just a twisted media and maybe some really stupid people thinking they can avoid medical professionals.
No one ever said for people to try self medicating with any thing they have at hand that might contain some of the products.
From what I've been able to read, I think they're ALL right both ways. It seems that it depends on the severity of the infection. The better a person might be able to fight off on their own, the difference in the symptoms could cause a misdiagnosis with out actual testing.
There are over 1/2 a dozen drugs already available with the same potential.
If I'm going to have to worry about dying from something, I'd rather it be with out demonrat politics and fear mongering.
I'd like to go with some sort of quality of life still going on.
I was already sick this year. Along with countless others. who's to say what it was or wasn't as it passed through? No testing then. Just the start of the fear mongering and panic.
