RE: Caravan of 4000

Let's see, nothing about breaching but much about testing.

"PROTOTYPE".

Some passing "prototypes" are being put into actual service. Replacement of some older, high traffic areas, and up to an additional 33 miles of new boder security.

RE: Caravan of 4000

Mexico is doing it's part to help slow and/or stop the migrants. The U.S. is also poised to slow and/or stop the flow.

This is some of Mexico's illegal immigration problems as well. They, like most every one else, have their own laws to uphold. Corruption aside, I see little to zero difference since so many willfully break laws instead of banding together to fight back against what they say they're leaving.

This is exactly why a border wall will help. It's not a stop all. It's and actual security measure to help slow and/or stop much of what we're dealing with now concerning illegal immigration and more.

Stopping funding would in fact be helpful. It's like a job. You're only going to to do it as long as there's a payday involved.

RE: "ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY?"

Any thing good to say.....

Apparently a second FBI agent has been prosecuted and sentenced for leaking classified information.

So it's NOT the agents that should be prosecuted but at least it's a start. Hoping this will all eventually lead to government officials and more over the last 20 years or so.grin

RE: "MISSING IN ACTION"

Interestingly enough, I haven't read up on the guy much. Kind of used to seeing many of the outspoken in some areas "disappearing" or "incarcerated". I haven't given much thought as to how large of a following he may have or if it would make a difference.

I did have a headline in one of my news feeds where a suggestion was made about stopping any funding for/to Saudi until we know what happened to Mr. Jamal Khashoggi.

uh oh

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

From what I understand, what ever the Israeli government and all others involved decide, puts the "zionist" part of the community in check and/or subject to prosecution.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Israel doesn't want to give up what's been built but have set it the current stopping point.

Israel is also apprehensive(for good reason) of allowing a palistinian military that close. There's more to this.

There's more from a different angle and source. The main zionist part is not waiting or working through any thing but doing and taking care of things themselves. I'm not sure what that groups actually means.

The U.S. is also supposed to be working on a proposal but has yet to be finished and/or presented.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem makes a permanent stand. It's no longer just Israel alone or singled target. But they need to quit playing around and do it quickly rather than drag it out.

We watch the politics play out in the U.N. regularly. They say Israel won't negotiate but it's usually not Israel keeping silent and walking out.

The politics feeding the frenzy are slowly being bled out.

How far the U.S. will go to be some sort of wall is yet to be seen.

It has the intended potential to force negotiations and more. It's still not going to stop all.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Hi Lady Jhen.

One of the never ending discussions on how Israel and other regions in that local area carry out and/or defend against terrorism and war.

Some talk about God. God laid out the truth, laws, rules, and guidelines of which mankind doesn't really follow or pay attention too any way. More on an individual level than the large scale that was intended. Which is why there was one last blood sacrifice: individual choice rather than being judged by the whole of mankind according to laws.

I think every time Israel was pushed to war and/or retaliation, they deserve what they gain.

Of course many disagree.

Many innocent suffer on ALL sides but still no reforms or restraints ever stay intact.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

There are reforms that need to be made across the globe. Some areas worse than others.

Until those reforms take place and are enforced, which will most likely never happen; war and terrorism will thrive. Any type of weakness displayed WILL be exploited.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

It's been a two, three, even a four way street on that. Centuries for the muslim communities against each other, and decades for Israel being brought into the fray.

Long before the 6 day war when they were worried about fighting back then realized, they had no choice.

If forced that far, I wouldn't leave an enemy with an idea that he had living shields available to use either. Some areas of the globe, you can't play nice at all no matter what you would rather NOT do.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

It was God that guided the earliest group(s) of people to what was to become Israel.

I don't recall any promises made that man wouldn't suffer from other men. In fact; pretty much the opposite is guaranteed since man's heart was considered dark from the beginning.

With what mankind doesn't stand behind yet perpetrates are the standards; how much truth is ignored and people just accept it as okay?

It starts with truth, laws, and rules. Since none of that matters according to what people want to see or use; who are we or any one, to say what's Godly?

The very book(s) many seek, is still a major foundation for laws and guidelines. It's not actually followed or upheld any more than what's been gleaned and built on from it.

But there aren't supposed to be repercussions or retaliations to any affects or from the affected. God has nothing to do with the damages. Individual choices may not have removed him, but governments and whole nations have, in one form or another.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

I fail to see where I've been shown up.

Your view Yeah Nah. you can have it.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

I must be off to bed.

Even among themselves in the Arabic-muslim countries, there has never been peace in that part of the globe, long enough to make a difference. Right down into Africa.

What ever happens with Israel, even if the palistinian thing is ever settled, there's still Iran and a few others for them to contend with. The U.N itself over all, isn't too friendly with them either.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Canaan wouldn't be with out ham. Ham's son "canaan" married a desecendant of cain and is considered to be the father of the land. After the great flood. Sunday school stuff.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Yeah Nah

I'm aware of the the land of canaan, the curse of ham.etc.

As far as chosen, i've no idea what you're referring too.

Miss Lindseywave

'bout the time you can sit, I'll have to go again.

Hope all is great with you and calmer days.

grin

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Yeah Nah

read Genesis chapter 32.

The tribes of Israel aren't quite descended yet.

I swear you're gaming this stuff on purpose. mumbling

What have you to contribute on the Israel-Palistine topic?

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Yeah Nah

Abraham's call was also started in Genesis and because it hasn't been too awful long ago that I was reviewing some things, I believe it was chapter 12.

And now I remember why your references didn't quite make sense. Abraham and his wife had to travel into Syrian or Canaanite territory, to land God would show him. We're talking ancient history; Mesopotamia was his starting point when he received his calling.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Yeah Nah.

Israel was a land. Israelite(tribes) were people. But first, it was a name given to patriarch Jacob(Israel-"one that struggled with the divine angel").

The name for the land didn't even come into play until after the Exodus. Jacob's renaming took place in Genesis.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Adam and Eve were kicked from the garden. The first blood shed was that of making clothing for them.

God didn't forsake or deny them as people. He didn't condemn them. He punished them and it carried through out.

The Promise of the land stood and stands. Certain covenants were made. Sometimes chosen prophets and priests intervened on behalf that God with held his wrath. The covenant; He will never break.

How ever, rulers or leaders, will come and go. Push hard enough and they may go quickly rather than long standing to rule and lead. More than a few leaders were given to their enemies or even died quickly for going too far.

Israel can't be in that big of a hurry for much. They didn't touch the Mosque when they entered into Jerusalem during their 6 day war.

Palestine isn't recognized by most Arab nations yet it's used for political purposes against Israel. Israel IS recognized but some of the countries want them annihilated.

Who attacked who first? Why do they keep it going?

I've sat back for many years now. Israel won't be destroyed or moved much unless God allows it. There is nothing but the warnings of their never ending battles and struggles after the return to the lands, until Judgement day.

RE: Do you prefer to hang out with people who are like you or who are totally different from you?

When I hang out with people, it's generally in public. No way to say if any are like me or not.

In all honesty, it doesn't matter as long as no one is being too far out of line. at that point, it's better to walk away.

I will still see some of those same people on other occasions. Enough time and interaction, it leaves doors open for different topics and potential activities. Bowling is usually a nice time out for starters.

I can't really say I have a preference. Environment, time, and behavior in public are the deciding factors.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Each time Israel is brought up, I'm also reminded that the Bible also says that Israel will never know peace until the return of the Messiah.

I have seen nothing in modern day to discredit any thing in the Bible.

Something with such accuracies as man does continue to discover and learn.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

What nam states is true.

But there is a lot more to the whole picture concerning God, the Bible, history, and archeology.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Then maybe you shouldn't critique what you haven't even tried to extensively read or learn.

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

Check the history and maps according to then and now.

Philistine was with in the borders God gave. There were also other lands and/or people mentioned that God granted to Israel as part of the promised land.

It was the Greeks that referred "philistine" over to "palistine".

RE: "ALL BETS ARE OFF"

They were spread and cast out of their land but also promised to be returned to it after a time. The Bible does give the borders and people for Israel to have.

It was never palistine or palistinian(until the Greeks became better known). More like Philistines. The land was usurped many times from different lands of God's choosing to punish Israel.

Now they have been returned as of roughly 1948. Many say it matches the biblical time line. For a country considered to be so small yet continually able to fend off so much; I would think more than twice before trying to give away or take what God has outlined and promised.

RE: Can Someone Please Tell Me

I think that is what bothers me most to this day, mic.

When the dems controlled every thing while taking, taxing, regulating, and spending; there was actually no one for the people. There was no real protection or representation for the country. Instead, things became worse through marxist tactics that bred home grown terrorism with an ailing economy to help the embers grow.

RE: WOULD U MIND PLS

I expect a topic to go off target. There are more views and aspects to just about any topic. Even side line examples, of support for and against. There are those "other aspects" that play into the larger picture. Have to get those weaved at times from various sources and people.

If people are going to revert to virtuality as if it were reality to "converse"; we have to expect things to take an off road path at times.

What I do try to be mindful of; is to always try bringing the primary topic back into play before exiting.

RE: Jst'ce Ginsburg/Sen Collins On Political Bickering

We should be frightened is a correct statement used.

I don't like Ginsberg much but she made some points loud and clear that people should pay attention too.

It's getting pretty twisted when we have to worry about party lines instead of who will work best for the country and citizens.

RE: Conclusion from yesterday's hearing: Kavanaugh will be confirmed

Even a professor from one of the colleges in California pretty much dismisses the idea that blasey would likely remember all of a sudden.

Even suggestions of memories planted and more. The professor was also a woman.

The next point was all of the democrat contacts coming out of the wood work to help blasey with her story. Apparently they couldn't help her with enough as things have fallen apart even worse for them.

As I've been reading so far, it seems the dems have hurt themselves pretty seriously with their desperate attempts. Worse still, blasey and Kavanaugh just become "collateral" damage. Should Kavanaugh become appointed, he will be a champion against deep state dems and government while being the "vile" whatever according to the the other side, desperate in hanging on to nothing.
