I think I agree completely with Bruce Lee. Disinfo became an art form developed by the KGB to create division and hatred in separate groups in the West. Russia currently has a huge "factory" to spread false information and create conflict through social media and myriad other ways.. Masters of deception, fraud, counterfeiting, you name it. A weapon to destroy the WEst without firing a shot.
I really think our closest friends can be a great source of validation, what we are able to offer them is often much more than we think. As far as my self is concerned, I find if the things I love become something I am dedicated to and accomplishments begin to flow from them,then I feel deeply fulfilled.
