That's a good idea with the bad teeth. I just heard a story from a lady who has bad teeth....kind of ironic. If she only kept her mask on, she probably would not have gotten fired from her job. Okay...this is going somewhere else.

You know with the news I just heard, here in the states, we may not have a choice about taking the vaccine or not.

But regarding your post...I gather you are speaking of natural selection and we should just accept that. It can be argued that is/was God's plan for us....or if you prefer....the higher nature of the universe. That very well could be; however, what if this virus is not the work of the higher nature of the universe or of God? Then what?

I sure hope I am interpreting your message here correctly.

Nice to see you are still kicking and nice to see you in general. I am happy to hear your vaccination is going well. I do know several people around here who have had it and they all say things are fine. Well, I know some who only got the first one. My sister is scheduled for her second one tomorrow (I think). Hopefully all goes well with her and everyone.

Thank you all for your contributions. I have read them all and I hope others as well. I really thought there was some good valid debate between the different opinions/data shared. I have gotten a better understanding of the vaccine, however there still does not seem to be a consensus among everybody whether the vaccine is truly a good thing or a bad thing.

Regarding my original post about the vaccine, there does seem to be an agreement on that portion...that it does seem that those who are vaccinated do have a lower amount of the virus, so thus, they only pass along that less harmful amount to others. However with that said, they can still pass it along to others...presumably, unwittingly.

In the most recent news I was just listening to seconds ago...it seems there is discussion about making the vaccine mandatory.

Not to knock anything you are sharing here....believe me I am not.

But, it is easy to find five outliers out of millions of anything. Or in this case, five doctors or five bad side effects. Now with that said, me personally, I am keeping an open mind and am not concluding anything. What you point out opens the eyes to what very well be or become a huge issue and concern. So, thank you for sharing that.

Obviously as the new variant spreads and new variants become identified, the push for a bigger part of populations to become vaccinated will become the agenda.....one has to wonder if people will eventually have a choice in this or not. So I think it is good to become aware of anything possible when it comes to the vaccine.

Boh, in lines with something you have shared, I have heard from a person who overlooks the disabled that when the disabled were given the vaccine, shortly afterwards she and her husband got sick. Was it due to the vaccine given to the others?

...but, very possible. I find it alarming with the information you are sharing that it is now being speculated that indeed it is possible

I guess it would not hurt to distance one's self from the newly vaccinated.

Now I hear there is talk about vaccinators going door to door.

Thank you all for your comments and contributions. I do feel I do understand more about the vaccine, granted if everything really is as it was said. I have no reason to doubt it but yet the vaccine is still new and the unintended effects I am positive have yet to be all discovered.

Kevin Philly, interesting bit you shared there. I will say that I heard once...I stress the word heard....because I do not recall ever reading anything documenting this. But I heard once that Mr. Gates was in favor of a program that dealt with the elderly unfavorably. Again, something I heard and don't know if there is any meat behind it. But I will say, I was awfully surprised that Mr. Gates seemingly became a key figure, when they had him on news programs repeatedly, dealing with this Covid crisis.

Anyway...I always thought he was knowledgeable in the tech industry. ....why now the medical arena.

It is difficult to know the exact elements of your relationship because many details, non-verbals, and other chit chats also help in forming a relationship, which are difficult to express in a brief story.

With that said, it sounds like you are in a difficult position.

The first thing I thought of was during the heart of the Covid crisis, I think people were kind of frantic....and I can just imagine the concern of catching Covid while working in a hospital was much higher. So, I thought it was possible that fear had a roll in how your co-worker ex-friend was behaving.

Now, I get from your story that you went silent after hearing she was talking behind your back. I am assuming you never discussed anything with this ex-friend co-worker....so I am thinking that she might not know what is going on with you and how you distanced yourself from her....she might be thinking you are not a nice person for doing that. ...again, I do not know the exact dynamics of your situation.

So....maybe a conversation with her is in order? ....again....I don't know....just a suggestion.

I don't know much about what the vaccine does or don't do....other than what I initially heard about it mitigating the symptoms.

But as you wonder....if you got the vaccine, does that mean you cannot catch Covid?

Now, if you can catch Covid like anyone else, can you spread it like everyone else?

According to what Grand says about his doctor, you cannot.




Of course, if you can spread it....well then...that can be a dangerous thing in my book. That means vaccinated people who have it may spread it without even knowing it.

But, I wonder no more about that...Grand's doctor put that curiosity to rest.

Something tells me, if they have ill intent, we will not stand a chance. But like you say, if we find out more about them....that might buy us some hope.

Wow! They have some pretty extensive research on the vaccine and how it reduces transmission. I have never heard that about the vaccine....only that it helped with mitigating the symptoms. I guess I learn something new everyday. If that doctor says it reduces the spread, it must reduce the spread.

I like being present in this physical world...however...there are things about this physical world that has sparked my curiosity. But, I would never do drugs first hand to explore (well...back in the day perhaps...but now days...I have no interest in taking that route).
