It is difficult to judge other people just looking at few words, or few pictures. Sometimes those profiles were written quite earlier, even few years earlier. Now, the representing person's traits have changed dramatically. It also depends on mood, too, while she or he is writing the profile. People act differently in different place. One cant expect to Mr. X should act in the same way with his family as he used to act with his employees in the office. People act differently with different people, place and time.

This is what one can say defining a thing.
Sometimes definition does not match with the site output.

But we can define it by the result (i.e. how people are responding to this site and on which corner they are involved, etc).

What is so different between CS and Facebook, Twitter, even LinkedIn or any other social networking site?
Even this site name has defined its purpose and its targeted groups. It cannot be as similar as Facebook which has wider approach than this site.

why are people so reluctant to pay their small debts even when they have the money to do so? This same old story every where!!! Generally, many people are condition to act in this way, even though they have enough money to pay back. Their brains r hard wire to be reluctant for payment. Actually, less generous people act this way, but those who are generous, do a lot of charity, cannot act such way.

hi Zeurich, sometimes we should not tell the truth even to own brothers or sisters without understanding their situation properly. Or sometimes we should tell the people what they wanna hear. According to your provided information, it sounded like you punched on her nose.
Probably she does not want to live her life with him but only wanna spend her vacations with him. (I cannot be 100% correct, either. it's only my opinion).

if you are sure she is upset, then wait for the right time as you said that she was very good friend since yor school age. if the person does not wanna respond, then one can make or force him/her to respond or talk with oneself. Have good time.
