I would agree with that. Some do nothing but talk about themselves and others claim to care about everyone and they take old folk across the road whether they want to or not then accuse them of being ungrateful.
Try spending a little time helping people who are unable to help themselves and hopefully when you see how much they appreciate your efforts it will lift you up and give you a new perspective.
You may be right but it will have been for different reasons. I'm very independent and not needy. A bit out spoken and as time goes on I become ever more suspicious of a man's intentions.
If I have a fault it's that I'm too trusting. It saddens me that I have to change that mind set.
PS CS is a good school for learning that one shouldn't trust too readily.
I my book the bad bit is the deceit and not the need to move on. Leaving with no words of explanation. Even to be told 'I'm going but I don't know why' would have to do and better than spending a final night of passion then disappearing.
I now think that this man made a career of it and it's exactly what he despised about his own father.
He absolutely knew he was wrong but just kept doing it. Leaving at the peak of the relationship.
Two years of crying myself to sleep. That was down right cruel. There was a lot to miss. I could write a book about it. A match made in heaven.
I fell for one who moved in. The kids and grand kids loved him then I got home one day and he was gone. He rang me for two years distressing me all the time but I eventually found that he'd already taken up with someone else.
I think most women are attracted to a bad boy as I've had a few who seem to have been attracted to me and when I've been out with them the women just can't leave them alone.
If I had my time again I would marry a nice man but sadly these bad boys are very adept at presenting themselves as wolves in lambs clothing.
My vote is for the nice man. I believe that women like a nice man too.
