When I was young I was Brunette lol, but grey is easier to cover with a hint of blonde.
All the blondes I know, and there are many in my family, seem not to have so much fun. We all make our own fun. Maybe some blondes get too much attention and have to prove themselves in order to be taken seriously.
Red/ginger people tend to do their own thing which I find very attractive.
It's healthy to have a rest from it. I avoid going out with people who can't get their head out of their phones and obsessive photo takers. They just aren't there with you are they? I value my friends and would want to encourage real life company.
My daughter remarried and my granddaughter was having to take time out to spend with her birth father. In the meantime she was visiting his parents then his new girlfriend's parents. All scattered throughout the country.
My daughter and I were estranged for about a year (it's complicated and not to do with this problem).
I kept making contact and was getting nothing back. When I finally saw my grandchildren 3yrs old and 11yrs old they didn't want me to leave but my daughter only gave me 30mins with them.
My granddaughter's father lives a few streets away and it breaks my heart. Everyone has to tread on eggshells with my daughter so I bear them no grudge.
My granddaughter now has skype so I know it's only a matter of time but she will need to be old enough to stand up to her mum.
Usha, when I dance to my dad's music I re-live it as if he were here.
When my mum died I said 'You will never leave me' I don't believe in Psychics etc but I draw on my deepest memories and read the books mum wrote to me so she is safe in my heart and I've no need for any controversial intervention.
My late dad was a difficult man and played the drums driving everyone mad but I loved it and my happiest memories are dancing to the beat. I still dance to anything gutsy.
Most of my friends here would agree that the seasons appear to have shifted to a month earlier.
We've had our second great summer and now August is our coldest on record. The plants are growing in an almost tropical manner ie larger and several flowerings.
Sadly less butterflies this year which may be a result of the flooding we now get in the winter; that's only a guess.
It's been terribly humid but I'm sure no one is complaining as it was never mega hot; not here in Devon anyway. Just glorious sunshine.
I live near the met office which reports and predicts weather all over the world.
Enjoy your wonderful summer; nothing quite like it and Africa must be spectacular!
Seeing other people happy is the ultimate happiness for me so you may be right about sport because if someone else won I would be happy for them. Oh and I am/was quite sporty.
I watched the Commonwealth diving competitions and those divers were all buddies. I hope some of that will eventually rub off on the football fans.
They all watch the game together and make great effort to be present and support their team. They enjoy the game, be it good or bad as they will talk about it until the next one so why be aggressive.
And I know it's not a man thing because I know several women who are equally wound up with their football. It is learnt behaviour.
I met a Manchester man who I thought was really lovely until he talked football then he was like a mad man.
We argued about 'sport' which I said was a means to compete for fun and should not cause anger and hate but he was quite aggressive and said that I don't understand it.
So I think this is similar. It's a learned behaviour and it could go either way. We learn by example so perhaps it's just a matter of time. I hope that social networks will build a better world once they've all stopped throwing mud at one another.
He who dares wins. Keep cool. You did it now take it steady and enjoy the moment.
I'm so proud of you reaching out to this woman and not just sitting back and waiting. Good for you! Always nice to reach out and touch someone for real life chemistry.
I can remember a girl at school asking me that very question and I couldn't answer it as I didn't wish to be anyone else despite my unhappy past.
This is a real challenge for me and I still can't think of anyone but I did admire Tony Ben (deceased English Politician) as I could never argue with his point of view.
RE: HAPPY REDHEAD DAYS, Y'ALL!
Red and ginger heads often come with those piercing blue eyes that you just can't look into for fear of going under their spell.
