many years back... i was reading this with a christian friend of mine ... and fell in love with jesus immedietly.. Jesus most famous quote Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day. And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time. So I say to you, Ask and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you....
.Air water plants Trees mountains hills rocks ocean (sea).. Animals all living things .... sky..... stars sun moon... all this starts sending each ones karma and destiny.... no way to escape.... ::
only becoming total detachment from from all and every desires one can kick the karma and destiny...
if future is.... predetermined? I don’t think we can do anything about it ... right? Not exactly.... .
God is testing us in our short life on earth... The test questions are not supposed to be known in advance. it is up to us to be blessed or to be cursed.
For the un-examined life is not worth living – Socrates.
Those of you who do not want to live pre-scripted life, predestined life, must learn to be bold. They must learn to move beyond their patterns. They must not be afraid of something new happening.
Everything else, all other powers, can be taken away from you. But the power to understand can never be taken away from you.
man is the one animal which fails to use the brains God provided.
what we want? Happiness is the most important experience we want
when people are happy?
When people are successful, or safe, or lucky, they feel happiness. also Something to do. Something to look forward to.
Happiness has the power of filling one with complete positivity.
BUT . . actually.... Humans are not designed to be happy, or even content. that is why.. jesus suffered with cross. suffering is the only way we can accomplish our wishes.
the concept of moksha? moksha, also spelled mok?a, also called mukti, in Indian philosophy and religion, liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth (samsara). Derived from the Sanskrit word muc (“to free”), the term moksha literally means freedom from samsara. (samsara ... means family husband wife and children or blood relatives)
Which god can give moksha? The name Jagannath is universally popular not only among the Hindus as their prime deity but also it is equally popular among other religions. The word Jagannath is a combination of two words Jagat Nath.
Jesus Christ can give you moksha. He is the God who laid down His life for you. Only Jesus can give you eternal love, peace and joy.
Is moksha the same as Nirvana? Nirvana, a concept common in Buddhism, is accompanied by the realization that all experienced phenomena are not self; while moksha, a concept common in many schools of Hinduism, is acceptance of Self (soul), realization of liberating knowledge, the consciousness of Oneness with Brahman, all existence and understanding...
How does moksha differ in Jainism and Buddhism? Moksha is a mainly Jainist word. The Jains believe in the eternal soul or atman , being trapped in the round of incarnations. When this soul gets liberated by means of practiceing austerities, it is called moksha. Nirvana is more readily adopted by the Buddhist outlook, the word meaning to 'blow out' or to extinguish...
Moksha is the main goal of Hinduism, and nirvana is the main goal of Buddhism. Moksha is viewed by Hindus as freedom from the cycle of reincarnation (Narayanan, the balaji God in tirupati). Nirvana is viewed by Buddhists as having a life that is free from all desire and suffering of the world....
Hinduism, considered to be the oldest known religion, is perhaps one of the most emotionally accepting of all other religions, offers philosophical themes such as: atman, karma, samsara, moksha, Brahman, and yoga that coax its practitioners into a life of perfect spiritually. Atman, known as the inner self, is believed to be eternal by Hindu’s. The atman is sometimes thought of as the consciousness of the body and can spread throughout causing uncomfortable symptoms to span into the soul... Moksha is one of the most basic principles of Hinduism. One must obtain Moksha if one wants to escape the cycle of reincarnation. Once one escapes the cycle of reincarnation they will know the Truth. And when one knows the truth, they will be one with God.
the body can become caught in a web of distress, or even happiness, that dictates sensations or reactions that the body feels. The goal of the atman is to not let the body be effected by these feelings that can interrupt the success of the soul, which is to achieve moksha, and rest eternally with Brahman the ultimate reality of the universe. If the atman cannot reach this perfection during the body’s lifetime then it will have to experience rebirth, or samsara as it is known in Hinduism.
try to bring peace within yourself. Life has so much to offer but also so much to take in return, but it is you who has to keep an open eye.
Do whatever you like to do. World is full of possibilities and options...
Focus on the present and the future. The past is not important. Take a break. (this life is driving me crazy)
Sometimes you will find things that are usually wrong becomes really necessary for good. Well, that’s a very complicated thing which is off the point . It’s a complete different scenario but here the main conclusion is the actions you are taking today will return back to you someday so take your decisions wisely....
Life’s purpose on planet earth, is expansion. Events with large deaths are what bring in the opportunity to expand. We MUST have these deaths, there is no way to avoid one aspect of life. Since birth and death appear to be separate, but they are interwoven into each other. The death (negative aspect), is needed in order to have the contrast of birth (positive aspect).
The meaning of life is just simple. The little time between birth and death is life And... Experience is why we are here.
Dying is not just when we stop breathing, it can happen when we don’t have an imagination of our lives, when we are lost and see no goals, no perspective and no meaning. It is another kind of death where we are alive, but our life has no color and no “life”.
We all experience tragedy, in different ways and in different stretches of time.... The events are different but the magnitude is the same.
All of us have experienced tragedy and loss at some point. religious faith helps cope with life's tragedies.
