RE: WHAT WOULD YOU DO

wenever, retire at 62 and start drawing your money. You could die anytime before 65 or 66 and lose out on all the money you've paid in your entire work life.

RE: Just wishing..

RE: favourite xmas movies?

@CapNemo, Just watched 'Christmas Vacation', but youtube only had 10 clips, couldn't find the whole movie. Some hilarious scenes in that movie, thanks for posting it.christmas happy

RE: favourite xmas movies?

Has anyone watched 'Ernest Saves Christmas' 1989 movie, starring the late Jim Varney? Is weird Christmas movie, but comical!

'An American Christmas Carol' 1979, starring Henry Winkler is a different take on the classic 'A Christmas Carol movie'.

'One Special Night' 1999 is a very enjoyable romantic Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday setting movie, starring the late James Garner, and Julie Andrews. I like this one because it shows that love and romance can be found at any age.dancingsanta

RE: Novel

@stormylady81, I just read your blog called 'Plot'. Your style of writing is very understandable, and I found your story very entertaining. I look forward to reading your entire novel one day. Good luck :)

RE: Gentleman...

Different people have a different meaning for the same word it appears. Maybe he meant by saying 'gentleman' that he wasn't going to make unwelcome passes to you. He shouldn't have to tell you he's a gentleman before he meets you, that should be obvious after he meets you.

RE: Ireland

@Abagail, sounds like a wonderful trip touring the Western USA, that you and your daughter had. You didn't mention going to San Francisco, which is a very interesting city to sightsee in. Also, in Napa Valley, CA, where the wineries & Redwood Forest are is nice.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful photos from your trip to Ireland. Makes me feel like I've been there by viewing them!

RE: Ireland

@Abagail, looks like the crowd of people enjoyed themselves outside of the show. Are you originally from Australia? Glad you were impressed with Oregon. It is a naturally beautiful State, but so spread out. You have to do a lot of driving to get anywhere.

RE: Ireland

@Abagail, I've never travelled to Ireland or outside of USA. I love Celtic music & happened to discover the video of Mutefish on youtube. My ancestry is from long ago & some are Irish & Scottish & British.

From the video, the Irish people look just like groups of Americans.

RE: Ireland

@Abagail, I knew you would be impressed by them! On your next trip to Ireland, be sure to ask about them to find out when they will perform. I think the video is interesting coverage of everyday life in Dublin.

RE: Ireland

@Abagail, The band Mutefish play Celtic music and perform a lot in Dublin. One flute player, 2 guitarists & 3 drummers.

Here is a video from youtube of their performance on Grafton Street in Dublin:

RE: Ireland

@Abagail, did you visit Dublin & hear the band 'Mutefish' perform on Grafton Street or Temple Bar? They are street musicians that perform there a lot.

RE: Smoking

@Welela, thank you for posting about Alan Carr's book about how to stop smoking. I've never heard of him, but am going to search for a copy of his book. Sounds like the kind of help that I need. thumbs up

RE: ........It worked.........

@virgo, just hope they don't read in here & get tipped off! They will start sending under a different country that you don't have blocked. dunno

RE: All ladies young and old

Thank you for your thoughtful wish! Wishing you a very Happy Valentines also! heart1
