The rest of the immigrants is a mixture of those who have passed through Europe and chosen UK maybe because of a knowledge of English language or they feel there are more opportunities here.

If a group feel oppressed and wish to draw attention to their plight and that of others in their country, then the question is whether when given the opportunity to make their feelings known, should they communicate this to the world. Same applies to other countries such as Iran and the plight of women's rights there. Given the opportunity, should they tell the world? Or just suffer in silence?
Shen Yun dance company despite being Chinese are not allowed to perform in China because they are considered to be a cult. Their dance routine tells the story of Chinese history, but not that which the Chinese gov approves. Lou Lou You sound the sort of person that has looked at religions and are the type that can not be brainwashed. You are a thinker and can see how different beliefs affect the actions of individuals. Have you ever studied religions and observed the type of people that become switched off from reality and shut their minds to any suggestion of logical explanation for fear of drifting from their world and being cast out of their cult. I have always had an open mind and grateful that I can think and never be subject to the strict acceptance of the beliefs of others.

Grandsiose That's my view too. I think China has so far escaped the blame. Remember the Chinese guy who first raised the problem and reported it. He was arrested, silenced and punished. When the whole matter was exposed and the seriousness of the virus became common knowledge, he was released and received an apology.
