How fun, with you as well, FF, unqualified ESL wannabbee treacher. Never without those many admitted forms of failure in life, following you about. And somehow to brag about it as well. As if. Classy royal metaphor.
Well JV, my friend. there still are some decent DEMS, but I agree about many, perhaps most. I think the Trump Derangement-Hilary Deficit Syndromes are what really pushed so many in the wrong direction. It really is striking, to anyone who is familiar with deep psychiatric disturbances. All the signs of such are there, in florid fashion, and oddly, seem to have much more to do with our Brilliant and Dazzling President Trump's sometimes off-putting personal styles, VERY off-putting, ---than with many of his actual core beliefs and policies. On the former, he loves our country, and the Precious Constitutional Democratic Pepublic, and usually that alone is alone enough to get the juices a flow. Just see the enormous visceral HATE of it all by the syndromic alt lefties. And on the policies, especially immigration, NATO cheapskates, China, infrastructure, and underlying it all, jobs (not least in minorities), and the economy. At least, that is, until the Chinese Virus was release onto the world. VERY CHINESE.
Changed your mind on promising to block? Either way, we welcome the dysfunction, as your character shines. Memories of those incompetents in teachers' staff rooms. But I saw almost none of it when working in the private/parochial schools. Dedicated, educated, child clued professionals, VERY clued, all. But when bested, the ones in the public schools all seemed to respond as you seem to be unable NOT to do. Sticks and stones sort of cretins. One lesson plan in thirty years of teaching. Are we having fun blocking yet?
Res ultimas ipsant loquitores. But at least I won't block any of it. Too supportive of our many points on these US HS school marm sources. Funny as well. Not at all pathetic.
And BTW, M-C, I do not use Facebook, for all the obvious good reasons. In future, if you would like to enlighten me with your copy and posts, please use another platform. Pereat facebook.
Thanks for your attentions, and your well meant suggestions, Little Miss C. Your admissions on the nature of some of your own posts are appreciated, but sadly, differ from ALL of mine in one important aspect. What I post is demonstrably true. Occasional jaunts into silly humour excepted. Four more years of MAGA, girl. Inshallah. Y gracias a Dios.
Never complain. And never explain. Just a tad but too revealing. We see all. But if you say one hundred rosaries, light as many votive candles, and get an elderly nun to sign a soiled Nappy with the words, "God isn't dead, she's not even asleep", you may get a little time off from Purgatory. Godly dispensation from the Vierk hisself. You can trust us, we're not like all those others.
Just wondering, in print now, which of the latest proto-failed Syndromic, VERY Syndromic, VERY failed, witch hunts this one will be. Einstein's words on hopefully repeating things.
To paraphrase a great Austrian born physicist. One definition of having a level four Syndrome, VERY level four, is repeating behaviors, and expecting different outcomes. Using fake news compulsively lifted ONLY from the alt left fake news sources, VERY fake. For starters. A big as if. Then, behaving as did all the pundits and other Syndromics concerning polls, etc., on Hilary's slam dunk prospects in November of 2016. But just after midnight, as the data accrue once more, for you know what, in your hearts of hearts, they'll be guffaws and smug faces galore. Crude behaviors indeed, but human, and certainly well earned. Don't ever stop, you few Syndrome victims here, please.
Yep, all. In the day when I used to work with families, kids and especially with couples, a respected trainer quipped that in such work, there were only two most powerful words for our charges to learn. Yes Dear. Latter I would add a few more. Darling, that was an excellent thought. Wish I had had it first. But truth be said, I could have used these much more.
And an ingredient, topping, filling, artificial flavoring, type of candy, baking cube, Jimmy, sundae sauce, dark or white, West African Mole dish, ---just for starters. I have to watch my step around any.
Compulsively missing the important point is often seen in many marginal teachers. Just check out girly beard, pensioner OG himself. But it must be much worse in those with neither formal training in the craft, nor recognized certification, of any sort. Oh, we suppose a few can make the switch. But from failing in life at music, family, etc., then at one of the non-cerebral, VERY non-cerebral, non-literary, VERY non-literary, basically mechanical boring gigs---now then---THAT's a stretch. QED. And then to brag about it? On a site like this. Using tedious shlocky stories about ---All my struggling international students. Oh how the entertain. Oh yeah, that'll attract the really classier sorts of tarts. Impressively pathetic. The life, the work, the lady.
An old US Marine saying. When you aren't ordered to advance, stay put. When not so to march, stand. And after standing, sit. Finally, lie down and sleep. If not on watch, that is..
Thanks, all. I'll make sure never to get caught brutally murdering any innocent families. Hate to have to sit in a chair that is way too big for me. I'll get the ACLU to take my case.
Thanks DD. I love the metal hot seat. But where is the metal helmet, which sort of had that certain 1930's space explorer gear look? They really do suffer' and who knows if it may even be a tiny deterrent, for a few of these potential animals.
Yep, KPT-thanks. Actually, the left bias permeates much of what they produce. Best seller lists, food, theater, art, music, autos, business, ---even sports. There's no question that their researchers and writers are talented. They just are way off on the left. In part, they are pandering to their remaining readership. Remember, how Newsweek had prematurely placed Hilary's victory pic on the cover, even sent some out, only then they had to replace the front page. Now THAT's bias. You are correct---few non-deranged, fair-minded people are missing any of it. Derangement is a strong clinical term, but in many cases, even here on CS, it really does apply. I love to point out President Trump's many warts. Some are actually part of his strength and broad appeal. MAGA.
M. Boat sold to the nice NH couple. Asking price sale .Pick up in two weeks. I'll let them practice towing it, and mast step-launch/retrieval here, then they are on their own. Wish they'd let me sail her one last time.
As I've said before, your love of beautiful Venezuela, and your people, are great. The videos are honest and alluring. Change will come. Many of your islands were overwintering storm shelters for sailors. I never did so, but it is on the bucket list. Now, how about the contact info on the lovely Rubia in the clips. R.
Good point KB. Bet it was one of his shameless, worthless, real estate/business course certificates. But even his many warts, VERY many, can bring a smile.
Thanks for the tips. Most, but not all, are on my list. Actually, I looked at the Montgomery 17, trailer and motor, last year for under $1,000. Located locally. All in pretty good shape. The boat needed cosmetics down below, but nothing any slob couldn't do himself. Passed it up, as I didn't like owning two boats. These sturdy little boats, with little mods, have crossed the Pacific. Shortly thereafter. right in town here, due to a death in the family, a Contessa 26 and newer 4 cycle were on sale for about the same price as the Montgomery 17. Old inboard needed removal/rebuild. Full suit of ocean sails. Same lame thinking on this incredible deal. Yep, this is the litttle Canadian (Eh?) built bullet stopper, and true cork, in big seas, that the crazy professor (another teacher) bought his 18 YO daughter in place of paying for college. The idiot let her circumnavigate, single handed!. She met a boy half way, and both made it. She's a local girl, with a different squeeze,, and sold the 26 for the Contessa 33---another ocean crosser, as you will know. Thanks for the great suggestions. This nice couple seemed really interested in the little Anna Maria, but we'll see. Afraid to tow it back to NH, but I offered to teach them and let them practice locally, and to allow them to stay in one of the rental units till more comfy. Things small-older boat sellers in a soft market will do! Actually really nice kids.
Yep, Micman. The real sign of knowledge is the humility of KNOWING, how little we all really know. Sorry to have caused any upset. Fella's coming by later. Might buy the boat, allowing me to get a smaller one, more in line with my age and priorities. Gotta get to work. Thanks.
Polls....They seem to be tightening,....
Thanks, Micman. A highly auspicious posting.
