RE: I really think this needs to be posted

I agree Red, nobody on the horizon can fill those shoes.

RE: I really think this needs to be posted

indeed, confirmation he would actually be not much different with regards self interest... Ditto the alternatives for Xi or Don.

RE: I really think this needs to be posted

A new labour leader has no self interest? I dont know who he is or whatever, but I garantee he has exactly the same self interest as any other. Probably just more likely to run out of other peoples money to spend.

RE: The Virus....what I heard

I think so too.

RE: The Virus....what I heard

Just trying to help the mayonnaise industry in these troubled times.

RE: The Virus....what I heard

I heard from ny neighbour's uncle's friend's hairdresser, that if you cover your entire body in mayonnaise you're less likely to catch the virus.

RE: The Isolation Blog

I just saw on TV, Sweden has half the population we do, and has recorded ten times the fatalities so far...For roughly the same infection rate.
Could be something in it maybe.

RE: The Isolation Blog

Lets revisit the idea in a month, see how Sweden's going then. my guess is they'll be asking why nobody warned them or similar.
Not that long ago, somebody here was saying how Spain had a bad flu season last year and maybe the folks had a certain amount of immunity, this has played out not to be the case at all.

RE: Toilet paper update...

Except, in world war 2 there was actual need, not just people hoarding to feel superior. You can't tell me people started wiping their bums that much more.

RE: The Isolation Blog

I'm a little concerned if women are only supported on one side, they'll walk in circles.

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

They're clearly defined IUPAC terms.

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

I dont mean to boast, but these will be the finest mushy peas in the history of greatest cheese sauce, once the spogey tasting has concluded.

And thats not a claim that can be made hastily.

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

Well when I put inside my blender, snap the lid on, and hit the pulse button a few times with Van Halen cranking, you wont shed a tear.

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

Never one to back away from a challenge.. Bring it on.

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

Yeah I love chilli paprika and spices, Berberay is a fave, zug too, ras al hanoush as well...but thats more a chicken thing for me, pies are too delicate a flavour...

Last girlfriend, or maybe the one before that, was a nutri bullet convert. I pointed out it would fit inside my 800watt or whatever twin blade whizz bang blender and wouldn't stand a chance.

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

Frozen Australian baby peas it says on the pack... I'm sure you're right they arent designed to be mushy.

I have every kitchen gadget known to mankind, but I hate pulling them to 15 bits and cleaning fiddly blades etc.. I should get over that, otherwise whats the point of having them. The juicer is especially annoying.

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

My bad...Rule one of the terrier tree, dont talk about the terrier tree.

RE: A challenge to the lefties.....

Its possibly a bit trivial, but from a readers point of view it makes it a lot easier...

Not hard, you get a few ideas go with it. when the thought changes, just hit the return hey a few times.

I'm sure there are some interesting things in there, but speed reading a rant one just sees a few trumps or whatever, and the whole shebang is dismissed.

RE: A challenge to the lefties.....

A challenge to write something impossible to read because it has no paragraphs, you win.

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

100 ,metres each way, in ten minutes... is that 1.2 or 12 km/h?

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

Pot noodle is fine, if you put enough pot in it.

RE: Saving the globe - the new kingdom ?

I;m kind of suss about the pangolin kiss, could be a sticking point.

RE: Saving the globe - the new kingdom ?

I guess. And word on the streets is she makes a mean cheese sauce...

RE: Saving the globe - the new kingdom ?

Yeah, that will work if you run a dairy farm or whatever.

RE: Stay home order? No problem. Meet me on the GOLF COURSE!

Its not an American problem, its a Chinese problem right? Buy another gun, and prepare for the invasion...

RE: Saving the globe - the new kingdom ?

I'm sure Fishguard and Hollyhead can accommodate the ocasional load of cabbage, and backload leeks. We can get this international trade route up and running once more.

RE: Saving the globe - the new kingdom ?

I'm not suggesting a diet of leeks, you could mix it up a bit, sometimes have onions instead, perhaps in summer the occasional cabbage or radish.

RE: Saving the globe - the new kingdom ?

Meh you probably wouldnt grow paw paws or mangoes in Wales. but enough to feed yourselves. I'd be all for it actually. But thats probably due to country size and population, and not wanting to share germs.

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

They're not great numbers sorry Merc. I would say just put an autopick on.

RE: World's greatest cheese sauce

Yeah thanks ladies for helping me out there, appreciate the support.

I think when the clubs open back up, a bistro meal should be sufficient to impress. That way I can watch the keno results and not have to pay much attention to her prattle.
