Its like that, the kids leave home... One still peels 4 potatoes...

RE: The Isolation Blog

Yeah, a little bit, its always uninspiring cooking for one... You probably have gone from needing heaps of food to not needing as much, from not the same exercises. Try to keep a good balance, though its not easy.

RE: The Isolation Blog

RE: U.S.A.....making it great again

Thats a shame, I was hoping you would.

RE: U.S.A.....making it great again

Our economy has taken a huge hit, it will take many years to recover... I think staying shut down, or shutting down even more, will have the most benefit long term.

RE: U.S.A.....making it great again

Good point, without knowing exactly...whats New York got? about 15000 os so cases... A similar city, maybe Tokyo or London, I dont know exactly but I think its less...

RE: Payday means new stuff. Right?

It souds like it will suit your purposes just fine, nice work.

RE: The Isolation Blog

We've been told dont go out unless its absolutely necessary, and dont congregate in groups. Then told we have to vote in local council elections or be fined 136 bucks... I'm guessing about a million of us won't. half will just pay the fine, half of us will argue the point... I think even a dim witted labor government will see it is not worth chasing up.

RE: Payday means new stuff. Right?

Here, TV's start at about 100 bucks and the shops have fancy ones for about 8000 bucks...

The last one I bought was about 350, its got android and all sorts of collywobbles I dont understand, and it looks just like a TV... Its as good as it needs to be for my purposes, and wont be any great loss when it breaks or stops working, I doubt burglars would bother with it.

You're confusing him with Z from pulp fiction... Z's dead... Fortunately, there's more than one Z.

Stay safe all, especially where things are getting out of control.

RE: The Isolation Blog

RE: symptoms of Corona

Maybe his experience was just an illusion brought about from using too much handcream. I know I've been stockpiling it for several years now.

RE: symptoms of Corona

I find, if you get a whole heap of hand cream and really start working it in, one forgets corona for a while.

RE: The Isolation Blog

Pedro might have a few ideas on that too.

RE: The Isolation Blog

Maybe its just economics, a lot of these old priests are costing the church big money...

RE: The Isolation Blog

I dont make the rules, I just enforce them.

RE: The Isolation Blog

Basically, if they can put one tea drinker on the moon, then why not put all the rest there too...

RE: The Isolation Blog

Do we have any information about her hot beverage of choice? I have my suspicions.

RE: The Isolation Blog

Great. Another 500 million tea drinkers...

RE: The Isolation Blog

Yeah I just checked for myself, it turns out Mother Teresa drank 6-8 cups of coffee each day, and she didnt think much of tea at all when she tried it.

RE: The Isolation Blog

Meh, the Australian car industry was subsidised by txpayers since time began too, look how that ended.

RE: The Isolation Blog

The great democracies of the world, Australia, USA, Parts of Antarctica etc., coffee is more popular.

RE: The Isolation Blog

Yeah I guess so, if for some reason the coffee runs out, tea would be fine.

Other than that, a lot of communists drink tea.
