Here, we have "a Bradbury win"... From a speed skater called Bradbury who won because he was coming completely last in the ice skating (we dont really have any ice to speak of), and everyone else crashed so he was the only person to complete the race.
He's a great sport about it, and has a laugh with everyone else.
I would prefer ten old men feebly bleating about Trump to leave, rather than one normal person with something interesting to say.
Be good if all the politics was in a different section, but my guess is the boring old men will just use deceptive headlines to get around it. They don't want to be in a section with only other boring old men whingeing about Trump and the suchlike.
OK, so in a roundabout way, you're admitting you are choosing the wrong venue to expect complete silence while you complete your masterpiece... Maybe try the saloon in a western movie, where the piano player stops just before the gunfight, but instead just go to the next bar before the gunfight starts and enjoy the piano player stopping there too. Geez, it seems so easy solving the Americans problems for them.
I imagine if I was working on writing and Portugese, I'd choose a quiet place like a library or in the garden. Similarly, if I was planning on having a few drinks and a laugh or whatever, the library would not be my chosen venue.
In saying that, it would probably work out the same is she was Australian or any other nationaliity. They'd be accepting just as much, but you'd never really be one of them. The leaches she has must also be a factor, the father and half sister for example.
Lets be honest here, an American royal was never going to work. Picture it, everyone alll dressed up formally and having dinner... Down the end of the table, there's a nasal whine and grating accent, banging on about how everything is so much better in America, in amongst all the "like" and "you know"s... Everyone else politely eating their peas with their silver pea forks, rolling their eyes at each other, occasionally saying things like- here we go again, this will be good...
