So you set up road blocks with drug dogs, especially in the lead up . Then you drug test every driver entering and leaving. Word will get around and less people will go next time. Eventually, it will not be financially viable.
No doubt the first nations folks are being handsomely compensated for it. The best way to deal with it , is to have a zero tolerance approach to the drugs side of things. Not easy if law enforcement is also being compensated.
Drugs are the major economic component of such events, to suggest otherwise is ignorant at best. Clearly the event is being held in the wrong place, and the promoters should pay all costs and compensation.
Indeed, my point was its easy to see the other side as having an easier ride. Women have the glass ceiling, men have to support financially. Neither is always fair.
Myth number one, we only use a fraction of our brains. Stuff like thermoregulation, breathing, heartbeat etc whilst not conscious thought is still important.
Difference in the genders, is simply selective evolution. There are plenty of matriarchal societies, and they tick over just fine.
