I was studying the gypsies outside the hotel in Stockholm, and around town. There would be 3 shifts each day, starting with a lady holding a cup and sign, then at lunchtime somebody else would have the cup and the sign, and in the afternoon another. There was also big bags of plastic bottles, being collected and stored at the begging site throughout the day, and a grumpy looking guy seemed to be in charge of it all, running the show. I wondered what would happen if I took them some food, as the sign said need money for food... But I figured I might get stabbed so I didnt.
Sometimes, when a mans busy mixing concrete, watching the mixer go round and round, he gets to thinking. One thing leads to another, next thing you know he's pulling himself off like a madman.
Metaphorically, its always good to go through the cupboard and see what can be used and what should be thrown out. When I was studying and renting rooms in people's houses, I found the trigger word for me was recycling. As soon as anybody mentions recycling, i'd be looking for another room. No matter how nicely they'd say how this goes in this bin, or remove bottle tops first, or newspaper goes here...
Nah, then the lefty would expect it. And eventually there would be nothing exotic about having a reverse half-pike washing up glove lefty in the foetal position. Best to try and retain the exoticness of the unknown. Maintain the anticipation.
From what I see on television, the thing to do in Spain is find a group of poms then all sit around complaining the food is too spicy and nobody speaks English.
It really should be more of a give and take thing. You cant always expect to be the one administering the capilano, without respecting the turn system.
I prefer very basic hotel, not a huge fan of shared bathrooms but can handle it if need be. I figure I'm only going to watch ten minutes of telly then sleep, wake up and have a shower and breakfast. Air bnb is a good thing, most of the time.
