Actually, Joseph Smith was one of the biggest Charlatans, who has ever lived...Basically, his conduct was despicable.....if you read the entire story of this "character"......
I 'opted out' years ago, mate. In fact, I never really opted in. I can clearly recall, at 7 or 8 years old, that I thought, that the idea of a God, was ridiculous, and it's been that way, ever since. When will Man grow up? When will he take the pacifier out of his mouth; and accept responsibility, for his OWN actions?
Maybe we should look after ourselves?...I mean that was why God gave us "free will", wasn't it?....(Before that, we were "God's playthings", I suppose)........
Maybe we are in a Quantum Lattice of Infinite Dimensions? The Fundamental Wave Equation of the Universe (Read Multiverse)?.......Before something, there was nothing; but before Zero there is 1....God ordained it so!.............
Maybe there is only matter and energy? (with a few quarks, neutrons, protons, and electrons, etc, thrown in, along with a bit of elemental Hydrogen and Gravity)?......
It is very debatable, as to whether Jesus ever even existed, in the first place. A good deal of relevant scholasticism would seem to point to the fact that it is pretty likely that he never existed, (and as more research is conducted; this scenario appears to be increasingly likely)....does that mean that no one gets to go to heaven?.....
God is really like a "Santa for Grownups", if you like. Some people insist on believing in "Santa" despite all evidence to the contrary. These are the people with the "inner child, which never grew up" syndrome....The people, in fact, who don't want to think or take responsibility for their own actions......sad isn't it?
