Why would there be a god, in such a mind bendingly vast universe (or quite likely infinite multiverse), that exists there just for humans? Are gods an example of Man's vanity, self importance, ignorance, or just bewilderment? Are they only an imaginary reflection of people's fear of death?
The world is overpopulated. As always this is the root cause of the problem. Elaborate social engineering is not required, for a smaller populace. The trouble, (as Greta Thunburg noted); is the insane economic model of constant growth. (Before long to hit a brick wall, on a finite planet)..The inevitable outcome of this is war. It is just a matter of when, and to what extent.
A good start would be mass birth control for the Global Population. Since Man cannot control his own numbers, then sooner, or later, Nature will do it for him.
That unfortunately, would be true; and I'd rank this dog (see link below), as smarter than at least 50% of people (if not actually MORE than 50% of people, that is)
