RE: Door To The Other side

It's likely just oblivion, but that does not bother me, personally

RE: Door To The Other side

All of Humanity can be divided into two classes: those who want to know, and those who want to believe.

RE: Door To The Other side

NDE's prove, that, at death, the brain is in an altered state, however they don't really prove any more than this.

RE: Door To The Other side

Yes, but NDE's can be mimicked almost exactly, by certain pharmaceutical agents (see above). So what does a final spasm of the brain actually prove?

RE: Door To The Other side

The Cosmos is a gigantic flywheel, making 10,000 revolutions a minute. Man is a sick fly, taking a dizzy ride on it. Religion, is the idea, that the flywheel, was put there, just for us.

RE: Door To The Other side

I'm not saying that there is definitely nothing there. The fact is, no one knows.....I'm just a sceptic by nature, I suppose.

I once saw a child carrying a candle. I asked that child: "Where did you get that light?", he blew it out, then said: "Now you tell me where it went."

Ex,

Maybe, but not necessarily. The energy may be used in decomposition.

RE: Door To The Other side

I regard the brain as a computer, which will stop working, when its components fail. There is no heaven, or afterlife, for broken down computers. That is a fairy tale for people afraid of the dark.

RE: Door To The Other side

There may be nothing on the other side, except oblivion... assuming that there is "something" doesn't actually make it so.

RE: True Story of Adam and Eve

I believe we originated in a "Primordial Soup", and thus proceeded as would any other (initially) bacterial lifeform. Through the principles of Darwinian Natural Selection, our species "won out" against competitors, and has thus become the complex lifeform that we see here, today. In fact the human body is still made up of trillions of bacteria, itself. (Consider the Human Microbiome, for example). The other more complex lifeforms, also stand as "winners" in this all consuming and merciless race to be "the fittest" (In Darwinian terms "fittest" and "survival of the fittest' mean those organisms most able to reproduce (compared to competing species, and organisms, which then become extinct).....

RE: Wrong border!

It may have been ok, in the middle ages, but now, not so much, in today's overpopulated world....

RE: Wrong border!

Isn't religion part of the problem, here? (Particularly one, which calls for endless, and maximised reproduction?).

RE: 7 X 13 = 28

For the sake of completeness...

3421=(3x3)(2x4)200

I hope that make it clearer

Look at the original proposition again

(1x1)(2x6)(3)0000

11230000

RE: 7 X 13 = 28

(1^2)(2x6)(3)0000

=11230000
