Kattte..I gave up cable over 5 years ago now.
Do not miss it one iota..I get all my movies from the library freely if I get bored at night.
Far as Im concerned I saved over 60$ per mth for 5 years now.

Hiya Scotty...I can only tell you what Ive observed over my working years.
I've basically spent alot of my time in physical jobs outdoors and I watched grown able bodied men mostly move from province to province here in Canada, using the system. They would get a job under the table, then go to welfare, get a check, get their paychecks, move onto another province and do it all over again.
Now they cant do that,as back then the computer systems weren't connected, as they are now, so I have no clue how they go about it now. I found it pretty disturbing myself. However, I do agree some people need it.
Just my 2 cents...
