You can see in the media there are more references to like-minded people seeking belonging through their ideals.For instance these names that are not politically motivated: your crew or tribe.
Same goes for neighborhoods banding together.

I still see potential for "lovers", and other acts of selflessness that closeknit communities promote.

Right now this world is one 'wacked out' place and we need to do positive compensations so that the bumps will be as minimal as they can be.

It would probably be bonding to go through the good and the bad if you have built -in ways to ease each others' minds.

Know ahead of time what their serious
discomforts are and how well they know their own coping mechanisms.

I find knowing a person before you enter into
sharing your future with them makes the future
a bit more stable- if the planning stage goes well.
You can never know what the future will bring but
it can be bonding to discuss some inevitable
changes and be on the same page beforehand.

Could any couple initiate an "understanding",prior to belonging, with honest expectations between them.
If would identify specific life choices needed for having the plan go successfully towards mutual satisfaction.

Just an option for weighing those anticipated burdens you would both share.

The destruction is very similar to the path of tornados: power lines down and gas mains broken with small fires popping up in the embers.
There is really no where to go, as the vicinity has forest fires up the main route , the I-5 goes from California to Washington.

I hope to fly out asap once the airports can verify my flights.

P.S. my sister in Georgia has completed her surgery and has recovery ahead but did exceptional well.

Every entrance to Ashland is packed bumper to bumper with Semi-trailer Trucks.( possibly the Interstate is temporarily closed).

It is still extremely windy, heading away from town.
Our high school is an appointed emergency shelter.
There has been one helicopter that was dumping but the winds and the proximity to traffic.
My friend got home said she was flanked by 4 foot
flames and had to go with the flow.

It has become a huge mushroom cloud and might circle back when evening comes.At 3 a.m. we woke to the smell of smoke and sunrise was hazy.
It is clear due to direction of the winds.

We are on 24 hr evacuation notice for the city of Ashland, Oregon starting immediately as there are high winds and another fire on the outskirts.

My family has all notified each other of our meeting place and I have an elder friend who does not drive I will wait with.
