I also use Win 7 still one of the best Windows OS after that a user looses the control of how your computer functions.. I, _myself_, installed an SSD in my laptop... makes it more stable.. and have all my pictures in important stuff on my external HD.. I have, just to make sure, another Malware program - MalwareBytes and regularly use CCleaner to check my HD ...

To both of those I would say 'Depends" on so many things...
Would I compromise on what I 'know' would best suit with my lifestyle...for example I most likely wouldn't compromise and be suitable to someone who is vegan, and some people need to 'check in' their baggage... and let them go... gives one the freedom to live life as it is 'now'.
