U.S. intelligence developed evidence in the summer of 2016 that Hillary Clinton had personally approved of a plan to concoct the Russian collusion allegation as a means to distract from her e-mail scandal that was front and center in the news at the time. Such was the concern that the matter was referred to James Comey's FBI. Comey it would seem did nothing about it. Which makes sense, since he and his cohorts McCabe, Strzok ultimately worked to defraud the FISA court and illegally obtain spy warrants (using disinformation from the paid-by-Hillary dossier) on Trump campaign members.
Misinformation Jim repeating propaganda again. The Russian bounties stories was determined not to rise to the level of reliable intelligence. ie. there's a good chance it was misinformation. Unsurprising, given Trump aims to remove troops from Afghanistan and that is PÍSSING A LOT OF PEOPLE OFF (the kind that profit off death and misery). I will say though it's astounding to see the political left fully embrace McCarthyism and failed neocon warmongering. There's a lot of people that DESPISE Trump because in just a few short years his approach to foreign policy and military strategy has had more success than in the previous 25 years. Long may it continue, with more peace deals to come hopefully.
There's zero indication that Trump broke any law. He abided by the tax code that Congress wrote, and he's supposed to be the problem

Most people would agree that the tax code needs to be re-written, but that's the job of Congress, not Trump. Expecting billion dollar organisations to be paying any more than they're legally required to is peak intellectual dishonesty.
Democrats currently have a healthy majority in the House of Representatives. They could easily re-write the tax codes and eliminate loopholes. But they have zero interest in doing so, since a large number of them likely have financial investments that benefit from the current laws, and receive campaign contributions from people who likewise benefit. The same can be said on the Republican side. This is how the system has been set up to work.

Massive donations from people connected to the Uranium One scandal. Oh, and the people of Haiti are still wondering where all that money promised went to. Many have wrongly understood the Hillary/Comey issue from 2016. He was trying to HELP her not hurt her. They ASSUMED she would be POTUS and so Comey did a "for show" TV appearance where he claimed to exonerate her (even though he had no power to do so and clear crimes were uncovered). The plan? They didn't want "POTUS" Hillary to have to face investigation from an incoming Republican House majority. Oopsie. The plan didn't work out.
Yep timing is rarely coincidental in politics. Biden is probably rehearsing his lines if and when he's asked about it in one of the debates. DoJ will likely start a criminal investigation into the leaks to the NYT also since they were obviously illegal. I don't believe Biden has released his tax returns BTW??? And his Senate records are under seal? Doesn't exactly scream confidence for a man that held political office for nearly half a century that he wants to keep his records hidden
The only relevant issue is if he broke the law. If he didn't, then all it will be is a bunch of members of Congress trying to attack him for taking advantage of the tax code that Congress wrote. However, now that it seems fair game to have tax returns released to the public, I think Trump should sign an executive order requiring that all elected officials release their tax returns post haste. Now THAT would really throw the cat amongst the pigeons.

The projection is astounding since under Obama/Biden/Clinton Russia expanded its influence quite significantly (including obtaining 20% of U.S. uranium as part of its global energy dominance strategy). Let us not forget also that BJ Clinton received $500k for a speech in Moscow, and - as we just found out - Hunter Biden received $3.5 million from a Russian billionaire oligarch close to Vladimir Putin.
The Stone trial revealed nothing other than an old codger trying (and not succeeding) to be the first to get hands on the already hacked emails. Which is why prosecutors could only get him on a process crime (lying to Congress) and nothing else. Hillary and her accomplices, on the other hand, were handed immunity deals from prosecution after destroying evidence and conducting government business on a secret server. They need to be prosecuted, and jailed.
The 2016 argument is bunk. Republicans had a 54 to 44(+2) Senate majority in 2016. Any vote on Garland(or any other Obama nominee) was a formality - he was NOT getting that seat. So McConnell - as was his right as Senate majority leader - decided to avoid the dog and pony show and leave it for the 2 parties to campaign on as an election issue. Which is what happened. Trump won and Republicans kept control of the senate. Which is why they get to appoint another SC justice now. You may not like it, but thems the rules. Elections have consequences.
Yep, and i guess the reason i involve myself so much, is because i care about freedom so deeply. Biden(clearly mentally incapacitated) and the Democrats are the party of the NWO (translation: totalitarian one party control). They have the tech oligarchs and other oligarchs like Bezos and Bloomberg on their side. They want CONTROL. They can't stand the idea of a free people. I'll be very surprised if they allow Biden debate Trump. I'm fully expecting some excuse (maybe they say Biden got coronavirus, to both avoid the debates and garner sympathy). He's a puppet candidate that should absolutely be pulled from the race. He is in no way fit to run for office.
Exactly what bigjb said. There is so much money - much of it from taxpayer funded government grants and agencies - that has poisoned so many aspects of science. People push agendas that (they hope) will keep that sweet taxpayer funded cash flowing. There is also close links with many to pharmaceutical and medical companies and corporations(who want to make money, obviously). It's big business...
The larger truth is that the modern political left is less science-led, and more AUTHORITY-led. Why otherwise would Big Tech companies (left-dominated) be actively stifling debate and suppressing information and deplatforming people if they don't have an "acceptable" opinion? This is actual fascism. Dissenting voices are suppressed and attacked. Debate is discouraged. The message is simple: "Agree with the people we deem authoritative, OR ELSE."
And let's not get started on the fundamental denial of biological reality (again a very strong feature on the modern left) when it comes to the issue of trans people. A healthy scientific environment is one in which debate is PROMOTED as a foundational principle, not stifled... So no, Joe Biden (or the left in general) is NOT the candidate of science. He is the candidate of shut up and repeat whatever we want you to say or we'll attack you.
