@spitz I haven't condoned the actions, I said the policing was handled terribly. I imagine the officer will be charged and hopefully there's a fair trial and justice is served. However it's fair to also point out that when you comply with police officers' requests, the chances of subsequent tragedy are drastically reduced non compliance + poor policing is a recipe for disaster. And rioting and burning shít down solves nothing. I'm hearing that Mr Blake is paralyzed from the waste down. An absolute tragedy. May God be with him.

Since neither Biden nor any other leaders in the Democrat Party have come out against the rioters and indeed in many cases Democrat elected officials have FACILITATED the riots. The only reasonable explanation to your assertion would be that the Democrats are saying: "vote for us or we'll continue the riots!"

He read from a script (which he certainly didn't write). I'd say it was pre-recorded, to get the best "take". Hollywood production ideals, you see. But most people don't fall for that. And as for dementia, it's not an all day long thing, certainly not in the earlier stages of it. You have your bad periods and they tend to occur at the same time(s) of day. You work around it. Drugs can temporarily give you a "lift". But it's beyond any doubt that Joe Biden is suffering from cognitive impairment. The examples are too many at this stage. And that's WITH Biden having been largely hidden from public view. The talk is that his appearances will be extremely limited before the election. Doesn't inspire confidence.

Right: so Clinesmith has officially pled guilty today. The charge ascribed was a lesser one than it could have been (though it still could mean 5 years in jail) - which would indicate that Clinesmith has been cooperating (perhaps for some time) with Barr and Durham. More to come I'd imagine.

Would be laughable if it weren't so believable. The tyrannical totalitarian streak is apparent for all to see. It's a free country - if you can keep it that is. I get it that Trump rubs people up the wrong way. But it's undeniable that he stands for freedom. The political left, on the other hand, has increasingly showed it's willingness to infringe on people's lives, on their speech, on every aspect of their lives basically. They want to control every aspect of people's lives, and to be worshipped for it. That's not what America stands for, at least from my understanding. America stands for freedom and liberty. Unalienable rights. Let's truly hope she can keep them.

The USPS has been in deep trouble for many a year. Which makes the Dems purely-political unhinged push for vote by mail all the more irresponsible. Dems had zero problem sending millions to the polls on March 17th at the HEIGHT of the pandemic - but that of course is because they needed to drag Sleepy Joe over the line. But proof - as ever - that they're consistent in nothing, and political in everything. It's not about safety. It's about raw political power. Now everyone knows fraud is much more feasible via vote by mail, with so much out of the public view it only follows that the opportunity for fraud is exponentially greater. Nothing beats voting in person. Ballots are counted and double and triple checked and it gives a sense that everything is being done right. The next logical step for election security and integrity would be proper voter ID requirements nationwide. But naturally Democrats are against that. It's always a good idea to ask yourself why. They feel threatened by having safer, more secure elections? Go figure...

But they'll throw out the 4am talking points. The buzz words. Voter suppression! Discrimination against people of colour!! And many will repeat the mantras while proudly refusing to think for themselves. Aaaaah. Life is great

Jac would you just stop you've got an extremely untrusting nature. I laid out very clearly the facts of this matter and added my opinions. I find it deeply disheartening that it took so long for a number of the biggest networks to cover it. A 5 yr old got shot in the head and killed. It really should have been expected that such a story would be a major story reported without delay on all networks. And respectfully it should be easy for you to agree with me on that very basic premise without instead seeking to obfuscate and derail.

The above article is from just 2 evenings ago. Cannon Hinnant was murdered 3 days prior to that.

Harris is a shameless careerist with an awful record. I honestly couldn't care less about her race, but it will be funny seeing many on the left who are completely obsessed with race spin themselves into knots over the issue. She got not a single delegate in the Democrat primaries and snook out of the race just before she was about to get humiliated in her home State of California. Tulsi Gabbard could have actually got the respect of many voters had she been picked as VP, but she's an actual individual with her own firmly held beliefs, so naturally the DNC demonized her. Harris got the job because she'll do whatever she's told to do and say whatever she's told to say.

And as for Harris' 'performance' in questioning Barr - because performance it was - she didn't so much ask him questions and give him the opportunity to reply, as level accusations at him and then rudely interrupt him most times when he went to speak. This does NOT sit well with most voters, who expect a minimum of decorum from elected members. And people won't soon have forgotten how she acted in Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation process. Oh boy. To be considered the WORST person in that disgusting debacle? Oh boy...

She'll appeal to the more extreme elements on the left with her performative theatre - less so to your traditional on the fence voter (ie. the ones who decide elections)
