You've gotta find a balance. A snitching hotline seems way over the top. Reminds me of what I read in the book 1984 where snitches were rewarded for helping enforce the totalitarian fascist government's regime. It's a slippery slope and freedoms are hard won but much easier lost.
"I'm gonna make a deal with this virus. A deal like you've never seen before. The virus won't stand a CHANCE. These viruses have been RIPPING us off. The fakers, in the media, won't report that though."
Jim, are you a paid propagandist of the DNC? Serious question. Because if you're not you do a terrific impersonation
All the same you can't deflect from the facts. New York's problems are mostly of their leadership's poor reaction and ill-preparedness. Declining in recent years to stock up sufficiently on ventilators despite being strongly advised to do so. Then State leadership encouraging NY citizens to socialize throughout February and March. Unconscionable considering the high population density and thus increased susceptibility to the virus. Trump has bent over backwards to help NY regardless. Which is as it should be. But Trump is in no way responsible for the failures at local level. Nice to see that now - thanks to the Trump admin getting so many ventilators to NY - that now NY has considerably more than they need and are giving some to other areas of the nation that are in need
I think the idea with gold is that it's a good idea to have some of your investment portfolio(if you have one) invested in gold stocks. It's steady. And historically performs well in turbulent times. Think of it like investment security.
