I also used make-up most of my life, but not a lot just to emphasize my eyes and some blush. But, it is very true that some women do not need make-up or like the natural look.
I do have a comment, while being on singles sites, I am finding that a lot of men could learn from women, we care about how we look. I see local single men on these sites still wear the big eye-glasses, and outdated styles, and are not appearance conscious. They could learn from us women. Just my views:)
