There are many things that can keep the mind out of the rut of depression, its a matter of finding an easy way to change thought patterns for the better. Adrenalin combined with physical action does it for me really easy.
I think lack of movement can play a big part in depression, people are pretty bloody lazy these days and need to refire their thoughts with a good old basic sweat out..

I sold my old 1991 Nissan Navara ute to my brother and last weekend we got it going, the engine started up straight away. 1 of the rear brake hubs was so worn the brake shoes came out inside the hub, and 1 of the front disc brake rotors was rusty and paper thin. The older motors are great to work on with plenty of room to work, no sensors or miles of wiring to get in the way.

Its always good to have different types of corners to break the monotony of straight roads... The coastal roads here are tight and twisty, their a heap of fun on a 2 wheeler..

Yes I do think the body can heal itself with memory and feelings, the stronger your memories and feelings are the better chance a person has of pulling off a good result.. I am still learning this and i do see results in somethings, I do hope that there are other people out there trying similar things..
The beach is another place i can lose myself in memory, with all the memories I have at the beach..
