God has used tumors as a punishment, so we maybe fighting an uphill battle to find a cure for solid tumors ,which represents 90% of all cancers, but we're getting close. But, many think the end is near, so if we cure solid tumors it could mean game, set, match.....

The piece that stands out in my mind the most is the 83rd or 78th Psalm (please forgive me for my forgetfulness :)) ) Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. And they divided up his clothes by casting lots." Although mentioned in Luke 23:34 written 50-60 yrs after Christ's death, Jesus while on the cross quoted David's Psalm (shows one the power of Prophecy). The Psalm was written 100's of years before Christs birth.
You will never forget what mishap was done to you (our healthy mind does not have a reverse button), but you do have the ability to forgive. I always say if Jesus could forgive his tormentors, then so can I forgive the many injustices the world possesses. What's important is when you recall the situation,you also need to remember how you followed the word of God and pat yourself on the back for following his wish, to forgive. We can then stipulate that humans are always more valuable (intrinsically so) than all other created things. There is an essential, Creation-order distinction between humans and other created things (both living and non-living)—see Genesis 1 and 2, in the bible. Hence, technology must always seek to preserve the worth, dignity and value of all human beings, regardless of age or stage of development. Taking away the vital life blood of a another human being goes against the principals of maintaining life. In putting on my religious hat the preservation of the soul is of paramount importance than that of the body....
