There's a horrible history behind a lot of things. Not much point in denying them, minimising them. People know what goes into sausages, and they still eat sausages. More than this there's now a premium on terrible sausage meat - the meat-free range of meat.
And Singapore only works the way that it does because of the speed in which it got there. The momentum of gratitude for the things that are really there because 10 minutes ago they were not there. They've advanced to the forefront of the world because they're still modern, the stage prior to second religiousness where weariness and disgust with the material world dominate the culture.
It is a denial like a dream that never be reached, so that you always have somewhere to go. The hocus pocus of the baby boomers can only be this better world no longer satisfying the need for more. Tell me what else you could want when you've got it all? Most surely a fiction, something that doesn't exist.
World conditions have drastically improved since we dreamed up religion, but the habit remains. And perhaps for good reason. Because we get used to a better world. Once you are privileged the dark forces return. It might be a better world objectively but it is not a better world to you.
Here in England we do our best to insulate youth from the infanticidal policy of the geriatric ruling class. To not have vaccine passports for nightclubs is one of the small things we can do to give youth a chance similar to the one we enjoyed.
And I guess that the new normal has to be because of the old normal. The geriatric ruling class bequeath a future that is nothing like the life they themselves experienced. The response to 2020 being so typical and so against the interests of the young mean that the old normal cannot be sustained. Pulling up the ladder behind us has been intensified and accelerated and for this reason the old show breaks sooner rather than later.
I guess that's the difference between the old and new normal. This isn't the old normal to anybody who works and particularly those in education. Pensioners suffer only a little whilst youth are cut to ribbons in their prime. It's a new normal to everybody whose time is yet to come.
And you can contrast them with the black man who tends to look 41 at 14, but remain that way for over 40 years. And culturally none of that honne and tatemae but one-dimensional to an extreme.
I don't think normal is controversial enough for those who think they're living in a film. We just have to take comfort from the fact that they do nothing. Not even a semblance of human feeling when apparently your loved ones have just been given a death sentence. I know Pfizer are immune from legal action but they'll never be immune to a brick smashing into their face, or being set on fire. Imagine how it would be if they behaved like they're telling the truth.
On the one hand there are many more people alive than 100 years ago, but on the other hand that was 100 years ago. Another place where slaughtering people like cattle seemed completely and entirely justified.
It's quite a bit more than sneezing into a tissue for the common good. A vaccine that hasn't been fully tested or at least hadn't been fully tested. Not that I think there's much wrong with it. Anyway we want Conrad to be vaccinated because we don't want Conrad to die, this and this alone is enough reason.
And for our health, privacy and sense of truth and justice. Civilisation can't keep up with the science. Reform anything and it will be obsolete by tomorrow.
People can be very foolish but it's today's fast-food culture of instant gratification you should be angry with.
That and all the more time we spend at work which kinda relates to the reason that free time is automated in the way that is. Automated free time after a working day that is itself automated and procedural, a doctor or an engineer is today more of a technician sticking religiously to the script. More of a bot than a brain.
See even less of the point in a world of nuclear weapons where soldiers usually survive a war. We used to get something from sending bad boys off to die in battle, streets that are safe to walk at night etc.
To me it seems inevitable to have the reductive politics that we do. It's our specialty and I mean that literally trained to be a one-dimensional person. We do one thing and bring one thing to the table which is much less than the myriad of things that make up life.
RE: Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine does not contain fetal cells, more lies from Project Veritas
