They're isolating us into cyberspace with the eventual aim of turning this wild west into a digital dictatorship. It's not intending to forgive people or understand mental illness, this will be the justification for a police state. And frankly they've known for a long time that the law is a worthless piece of junk in the internet context. What it means by cooperation is a witch hunt, some sort of ritual sacrifice as the way create community atmosphere.
Given the personalities involved a cult of the unvaccinated makes a lot more sense. Putting distance between themselves and the mainstream of society is what it did before.
Does it really matter when we need to catch it anyway? Catch it before winter ideally. Or after. One vaccine isn't 6 to 8 months protection it'll always make a difference. Who are these experts counting antibodies like we were in the 20th century? Backward gits
The mistake I think is to assume that they're as emotionally invested in wearing a mask as you are in not wearing a mask. Not that I assume the other way neither. To be maskless isn't necessarily a political statement. I'd wait until you hear what they're saying.
The republicans might end up a bit like Orban in Hungary. More conservative than capitalist. Tucker Carlson does this when he says that the nation should be regarded a bit like your own family.
This isn't the 20th century anymore where people became middle class whether they were any good or not. If you just let things be then a big middle class would happen, well not anymore.
There's a lot of emotion involved. Brexit winning is one reason Brits take a vaccine as it is the least impression of being under new management. Biden I think put millions of Americans off taking a vaccine.
You'll put people off the vaccine by forcing people and sounding like you despise them. The vaccine was supposed to be a positive and we are supposed to be dedicated to humanity's welfare.
And that really is how we end up like China. The courts, the media and the police rolled into one big self-serving organisation with a definite political leadership.
And obviously they need the result that the media wants. Derek Chauvin gets 22 years because its what the media wanted, and it's also what all the other fascist cops and judges want. A sacrificial lamb.
There's a very important difference between convicting somebody for burgling a shop and convicting somebody for having a criminal thought six years ago. You need to convict people in spite of reasonable doubt and here is where the dark triad will pick up the slack.
Where would the tyranny of the judiciary be without the dark triad?
Anybody of good conscience would not see themselves as having the right to judge things they know nothing about. But this is precisely what the surveillance state does. All that spying power will make for more callous and superficial judges judging from a position of complete ignorance.
If you have a garden, tend to it. Gardening is as good as it gets. Outdoor physical activity with a point and it even smells nice. Literally surrounded by good chemistry.
And why is labour so much better than exercise? Because it has a purpose that's in your DNA. It's better than exercise when the physical activity has a purpose in itself. When you exercise your body thinks you're a weirdo for wasting calories. But labour connects to your authentic self, particularly for men what you're doing needs to have a point. The gym will always be too close to running around in a big wheel like a hamster, it's a poor substitute for productive labour.
That's my antidote to depression caused by a meaningless existence. Make yourself cheap and easy labour, and I do mean labour - this depression isn't going to go anywhere with a pen.
To turn up on the day and get work for the day. I'd probably also lower the minimum wage. Bosses need to be able to make a profit on you today, not in six weeks after all the hoops. What could make it worth employing someone for a day? Low pressure. It's not a big deal getting some work experience.
Red tape and surveillance have combined into what I regard as fake professionalism all part of the western bourgeoisie that wasn't. Now what does it mean to have this fake professional status even at the lowest level of employment? It means you lockout the downtrodden.
If not national service, then something DofE. Turning a field into a meadow and some forest will be just what they fancy.
And then theres the immigrants. Having fewer immigrants will help. They take up houses and help create a white working class difficult to live around. The cracks in our society are as wide as they because the society is based on having a never-ending fresh supply of people and land. But instead of expanding we should repurpose our emptiness. The vacant lives and the vacant buildings and the places you can't build in because of the vacant lives. Try to tackle the emptiness inside.
Put a tax on property speculation, the homes nobody lives. Use that money to convert town centres, retail parks and the Trafford Centre into housing. One third or maybe a half into housing.
Bring in national service to re-wild the countryside.
Can we get rid of everything that existed and maintain a belief in what is tested? Or won't the internet become the alternative to reality? Out of an ever-thickening shield numbness will come hypnotic trances and sensationalism. The more engaged you are in cyberspace, the more indifferent to truth. It's become media, the space between worlds. The truth in this space can only be the most entertaining lie, the most self-serving lie. It's all influence there is no substance.
The way forward has a range of possibilities for becoming more or less like the Joker. The pace of change will decide what. The faster we go, the louder the screams. Or slow down, create a diversion.
