RE: BIG News ! China moves to ban wild animals as food.

It's a cultural shift if anything. We've had Stalin and the 30 years of fascist catch-up growth in bed with the corporate world why not enjoy the fruits of your labour like Khruschev and the thaw? Touring wild animals in place of eating wild animals is the beginning of the leisure society where the urban and suburban middle classes set the tone. Workhorse of the world over, decadence begins now.

RE: Society and Socialism

From the end of the war until 2008 it was becoming more your own fault if you're poor. A lucky generation wouldn't think of a plan as such, if anything planning would get in the way of that showing off which is the majority of modern economic activity.

RE: Looking for the right one

And yet in a way that's why you're not to do. You might be a beggar but you don't beg, a man individually overcomes tremendous odds that allow beggars to become choosers. His self-control matches her simply not being interested. There's a difference masculine self-control and the apathy of women.

RE: Looking for the right one

With a broad brush there are two types of men in this world - those who need to do more hard work and those that need to be more hard work. The womaniser and the workhorse respectively.

When woman says be a good man they're talking to the serpents. A woman is better than all other women when her beauty could turn the devil himself. She wants what she can't have because that's what every other woman wants and to get what no other woman can is what Queen bee is. No woman wants a man that no other woman wants, this would make her feel like a bottomfeeder.

RE: Looking for the right one

And choose your words wisely. I don't mean evasive, elusive is the word. Tell her something she doesn't see coming from a mile away.

RE: If the virus had a smell –

A dignified protest that respects the virus is not likely to happen. It's more a liberty issue for chaotic cynic biting the hand that feeds him. Blag artistry, the modern world has become such a battleground for attention that you don't even think about staying alive.

RE: Rushing to end isolation ?

You have to find a happy medium between those who would drive everywhere at 20mph and those who believe that speed limits are socialist.

RE: Can you Love more than one person at a time?

Nature provides a surplus of men and to truly be the master of polygamy man has to do die in battle more. Genghis Khan. Let's see how picky and monogamous women are when 8 out of 10 men have been decimated.

RE: God

I believe in the power of pretending to believe in horoscopes and things. If you had to base your assertions they would not be so assertive it's the confidence to inspire a knee-trembler.

RE: eliminating government in the post Reagan age

The greatest generation had been through a lot together. They'd seen too many people be robbed of everything they've worked for to see poor people as losers.

This turned on its head through the summer babies and its huge middle class of berks. If you managed to fail in the late 20th century only god can help you.

RE: Australia And New Zealand Were Nearly Untouched By The Chinese Virus Attack. How Did They Do It?

They're western countries, but they're not in the west. There is a vigilance that comes from proximity to Mordor.

RE: Immune Booster Not.

It's the shield in an otherwise open world. Society gives automated/inherited/injected ability to defend oneself. All progress amounts to live fast, die old.

RE: Immune Booster Not.

Something decays in every advance society makes in same way that people become too important to eat wheat. The vaccination is injected experience so people can function outside of the shelter that society is.

RE: $ 100 Million donated to US food banks by Jeff Bezos

This society of high finance and second-hand underpants has been buried before and can be done again. That's all I'm saying.

RE: $ 100 Million donated to US food banks by Jeff Bezos

They trapped the money in the country but more than this everything was rigged to trap money in the society or the enterprise. In the 1950s the person came to succeed but not get that personally rich. The days of yachts and philanthropic gestures far behind.

RE: $ 100 Million donated to US food banks by Jeff Bezos

Internationalism had just been smashed to pieces in the 1940s and what nations did then was tax the rich for 30 years. Corporation tax is one thing but an individual having this much money to spare, how is that good for business or society?

RE: Are You Enjoying Your First “Test Drive” of Socialist America?

Your problem is that corona turned out to be a real thing. We've seen what the insistence that it never rains can achieve and what it cannot achieve.

RE: Time To Consider Lockdown Possibly ‘A Colossal Public Policy Calamity’

The poorer you get the less you gain from delaying the inevitable. The time to make the best arrangements works when you actually have something to arrange.

RE: Overlooked by Jesus

I would argue that the devil convinces us he doesn't exist by entering the mentality of people. The devil is not part of the circumstance that surround our lives like it was for Jesus in the desert. No, it's the serial killer in our midst - stranger danger in a society where the greatest unknown and very often the greatest threat is other people not the brutal reality of the elements.

RE: Overlooked by Jesus

We consider women proper adults now that we are living in an infantilised world. It's not the Bible's fault that there was no pill or public bathroom to give women the run of the place, CCTV and police and DNA evidence all the things that make the general public as safe as houses. You're never that far away from home, not really. The world couldn't be less adventurous if it tried and is only set to get even smaller.

And the Christians are the only ones who would put up with it. It's the only religion that can co-exist with white liberals.

RE: As a public service

I wonder how far away crowding together in a plague is from drinking bleach, but maybe man isn't as mad as that yet. There's a skull on the bottle.

RE: 2 People with totally different views on life - Getting together

It would be better suited to the string of casual lovers. Dazzlingly short-term choices within your ability to afford them - this is not a companion someone you could turn to when you're spent.

RE: 2 People with totally different views on life - Getting together

An adorable inferior to the worthy superior. In power relations contrast is a complementary opposite.

RE: False Prophets and True Believers

There's an indifference to truth that comes with the things money can buy. The customer is never wrong. Once society advances to that point of 2% effort to stay alive therein we have lots of room for doing whatever we fancy eventually becomes believing whatever we fancy.the luxury of choice becomes paramount. Having whatever you fancy becomes believing whatever you fancy.

RE: The Isolation Blog

We didn't exactly take it seriously by the time China did confess and we weren't exactly moved until we saw what was happening in Italy. It takes a special kind of vain pig-ignorancy to ignore something that close to home.

RE: Boy....the things we have taken for granted....

The irony of it all is that the pet is civilisation. There wouldn't be any pets without social conditioning it's the most unnatural thing in the world, if civilisation collapses your cat and your horse are going down.

RE: Boy....the things we have taken for granted....

Yes. You will not hear anybody complain about human civilisation more than its wealthier members. The sentimentalism of luxury civilisation with its belief that nothing natural ever hurt anyone, clueless desire to see nature win, and preference for pets over people.

RE: the LIBERATE campaign

Looks like a good way to drive away your customers. The only way a freemarket approach to corona could work is through a convincing display of discipline and hygiene.

RE: How it could happen

The truth is that America’s weird cults and it’s political correctness gone mad are ready to throw the other under the bus. Despite being heavily medicated.

Now you have to deal with something that have personal problems at all. It’s not even human.
