Our country has been in lots of trouble for many centuries and it'll continue for many more more to come that I'm.It's become pretty obvious that tension from race has been going on for some time and will continue to do so. Someones skin color shouldn't make a difference but unforunately it does.I used to own a police scanner years ago where I would hear the Police Dispatcher talk to the police officers and the Dispatcher discuss the person's name and such.Maybe if the race card wasn't used as much as it is there may not be so so much racial tension.I'm of more then one culture and I'm very proud of my skin color as it is mixed with my ancestry as everyone should be.
It's obvious to me that there is a lot of racial tension throughout this country which is a shame. It's such a divider instead of being a come together kind of thing.Color seems to be one of many dividers of the US.
Believe it or not, carousels were invented for the ancient knights to practice the art of war. During the 1100 Crusades, European soldiers watched Turkish and Arab knights competing in a game that involved riding a horse while holding a spear to throw at a ring that hung from a tree branch. Participants took the game so seriously that European soldiers began to refer to it as a "small war," which when translated into Italian became "garosello" or "carosella". Upon returning to Europe, the Crusaders brought the game back with them.
Codenamed Operation Overlord, the battle began on June 6, 1944, also known as D-Day, when some 156,000 American, British and Canadian forces landed on five beaches along a 50-mile stretch of the heavily fortified coast of France's Normandy region.
This all took place 4 yrs before I was born.I don't think I ever learned about this as a child.
I'm watching a live news report of the police are carrying tear gas and such plus blocking streets and highways. I live about 12.4 miles from downtown Cincy.
Nam I just heard where there had been a peaceful protest in Columbus a guy leaned over a barrier / he got in the cops face and the cop brushed the guy back and the riot broke out. There's also a video of what took place.I tried to locate said video but was unable to do so.
How to Social Distance During COVID-19 what's 6 feet apart? May 13, 2020 As public health officials learn more about the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), they continue to encourage social distancing as the best way to curb its spread.
WHAT IS SOCIAL DISTANCING The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention encourages everyone to stay home and avoid non-essential travel. If you must go in public for essentials, practice social distancing — that is, maintaining physical space around you — by:
Keeping at least 6 feet away from others. Avoiding gathering in groups, including at a friend’s house, parks, restaurants, shops or any other place. This applies to people of all ages; children too shouldn’t have in-person play dates. Staying out of crowded places.
You can still stay connected while staying away. Tips include:
Following the directions of local authorities. Using delivery services for prescriptions and groceries when possible. If you must go out, use a cloth face cover and stay 6 feet away from others. Connecting virtually with loved ones through phone and video calls, texts or social media.
One of my older brothers served in Vietnam War someone had asked him if it was more dangerous flying over there or being there in person. He just looked at that particular person and shook his head and just walked on.
RE: The economy is roaring back!
I feel that the Covid virus took a big huge bite out of what is left of the economy.
