RE: Tidbits of Humor 2

Oh man Mic you ruined one of my favorite songs - stuck in my head now but thanks for the smiles.

RE: Adoption - and reunion

My late husband and his sister were both adopted as babies. My husband had no desire to know his birth parents as he was content to be chosen by the adoption of his parents. On the other hand his sister always had a small chip on her shoulder that her birth parents gave her up and she went on a never ending search to find them. Sadly she passed before she found anything out.

I'm happy for you that DNA is finding out your birth family. Maybe a long lost sister will eventually find me as my DNA is out there.

RE: Old love stories in the new?

I've moved across this country to start again by shedding the past. After about ten years I come back home. I've had to do that twice because I'm weak to temptation. It helps to put 4,000 miles between temptation and myself.

RE: I've Not Seen Merc Here Lately - (aka "A Prior Chatting Blog")

Orgàsmic Euthanasia

What a brilliant concept

RE: You Deserve Happiness

I totally agree, one is in charge of one's own happiness or unhappiness.

RE: Uhura had the first Bluetooth...

I'm waiting for the gadget that you walk up to and say "Apple Martini please" or "filet mignon"

RE: Ahh.... the smell of burned dust...

I turned on my heater too then fell asleep. I woke up realizing it wasn't working, got dressed, put on a coat and went back to bed. I got a heater company out yesterday to fix it.

I'm not enjoying being a homeowner so much.

RE: Hey Grandpa What's For Supper?

That sure looks like an IP to me!

Mine had a baby so now I have a 3 qt too. I swear they make magic meals.

RE: I've Not Seen Merc Here Lately - (aka "A Prior Chatting Blog")

I thought the Mods could put you in jail so you couldn't post for a certain period of time if you did something that was wrong but not enough so to be banned, Banned people come back with new name and can post, right?

No matter I just stopped by to wish Merc safety. Thanks for letting us bloggers that do not go to the forums know any updates.

RE: 'The Party's Over'

No matter what is said....there will always be people to drink the kool-aide.

RE: lol

Great one rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Snow storm

Oh honey I have had to turn on the air conditioner the last couple of days here. Everyone is in shorts and sandles.

RE: Playing in the glandbox

Drawing a foot instead of a nose is not quite the appendage I was thinking of at least for the perfect man.

RE: Job Interview

My big question first is, "Can you make a living working from home?" if so then by all means, if not then maybe brush up on how to over come your anxiety. Lots of books and videos if needed.

RE: Max the cat.

Yep that's a fact Jim but they do fall prey to gators and coyotes. (and some Asians)

RE: Max the cat.

Good videos and two very lucky cats. Had the owners not come out those coyotes would have won finally. I'm shocked the gator didn't snap that cat up in a blink of an eye.

RE: Job Interview

Do not make any negative comments, answer all question with a positive response. Like if they ask you (and I always asked this when I performed an interview) "What is you worst quality" Make sure to answer a question like that positively.

Very important to be self-confidant and a team player.

Good luck and let us know if you land it.

RE: Playing in the glandbox

Holy chit you are really capturing reality....wassup with that?

If a body part replaces the nose, I sure wouldn't pick an arm for it. I know the perfect part that should be there

RE: Exorcism in blogland...

Thanks now I know

RE: Exorcism in blogland...

Who are we talking about?

RE: It is balloons !

The picture would be appropriate if he had a mobile in his hand.

RE: The Ghost

I enjoyed this blog and all who participated.

I'm in search of Noah's ark, the ghost

RE: Exorcism in blogland...

What goes on in CS all falls out of my mind as soon as I log off. Facebook is more real to me as I can focus on life friends and family. Everything here is virtual to although some I very much respect and others I just don't acknowledge.

RE: I think I'll let my hair grow long.

I have always loved the long haired men as long as it was neatly kept. Especially in a business suit a long haired man will make me look twice and try to catch their eye..

Registering a Product like a new tv

Oh lord me too Jim. It's a bit of a red flag though.

RE: Well, maybe I should have known better.

Good one Jim.

Just for the record I too love Sashumi.

RE: spitting in public...

Outside the shopping malls were signs: No smoking, no spitting, no littering, no cameras.

I giggled when I read the "no cameras" ....in China? Chinese are noted for that camera 24/7

Registering a Product like a new tv

Thanks Chat, I forgot about that. The TV also has a google assistant so I may activate that instead

I'm going to start going around lieing - saying one thing then saying the opposite so if Big Bro is listening (and I know he is) I'll will just be a liar.

RE: Popcorn: The not-so-silent Killer

I asked a dentist once what was the worst thing he had to deal with regarding teeth. He said it was from a raspberry seed stuck in the gums causing a terrible infection, the worst he had seen.

RE: Nocturnal emissions...

I was never exposed to that big old ham radio but I was exposed to the CB radios in vehicles in the 70's when I spent about 10 years of my life traveling like a Gypsy selling my wares in shows. There is a different lingo on the air waves. I got to bond with a lot of truckers and the occassional ham radio person. I loved that world that I know no more.
