I'm not opposed to marriage again, I enjoyed all my marriages. Becoming a widow early on taught me a painful lesson about not taking anything or anyone for granted.
I'm not big on the vow for commitment but at my stage in life it will probably be easier to stick to.
I have to say that none of my relationships left me with a bitter taste in my mouth except I found I could not live with an extreme hoarder, that terrified me although he is a great guy but I'm so happy I am out of that marriagen or lifestyle if you will. I miss him but not his habits.
Oh man that sounds annoying as hell. Sorry you have to deal with that without getting paid what it is worth which really makes a difference or at least get some pretty perks. I love perks and asked for different perks over a raise many times.
It's my turn to be up at 3am My favorite hang out partner is my dog, always has been but I go out both ways with people, some with similar interest as me; others with total opposite interests. I pretty much get along anywhere. Still I prefer my own company. I've changed drastically over the years from a house of constant commotion to one of peace and tranquility.
Hi Ysa - I got a good night's sleep two nights in a row, feels great. Our weather in my neck of the woods is just plain HOT. Not killer hot at 3am but still very warm.
I agree Bif - what a hero both he and his wife are. I would have enjoyed working by his side in the years to come listening to the trials and tribulations of Parenthood, however I can still touch in now and then via Facebook.
Thank you Ysabeljhen - yes Music sets or keeps a mood going. I just realized I was absored into the silence of the morning sounds. I just told my Alexa to play Don Moen, hadn't heard of this music before, IT'S WONDERFUL.
Most of my friends over pack when they go somewhere with way too much baggage. It took me awhile but I got to the place when I came to visit for the weekends to what I called my vacation home, I didn't have to pack a thing I could just grab my dog and go. I enjoyed doing that for years. Of course when I finally moved in to this home, I had two of every fricking thing to downsize.
I think the worse baggage I was left with, still dealing with was from living with an extreme horder. I loved hm, he is a good man but living with him was a nightmare. Now I hate PAPER, just hate it. It's a love/hate as I still depend on post-it-notes while hating the paper at the same time.
I think I have light baggage or at least know how to deal with it or work on it when it is pointed out I'm carrying it.
Oh Chat I might mention that I witnessed a lot of clients lose their condos over the association fees that grew out of whack which is why I chose never to own a condo. I saw it in black and white more times than I can count.
I haven't lived without a washer/dryer in my home or apartment in over 40 or 50 years. I'm not leaving my living space to share laundry with other people, that's just harsh.
A man died in my home before I bought it. Other than the rare paranormal activity it is fine here, I got a great price, I take care of his home while making it mine. I don't have a problem.
I'm so happy I hate the taste of alcohol or I would be an alcoholic. I love how it feels, just hate the taste. My best friend is a functioning alcoholic, the only problem is she wants me to drink along with her and I just can't keep up. The times I've tried I got fried and paid the piper a heavy price.
I'm pro Mercy killings but sadly it would be taken advantage of by a few evil people but what is best for overall is what is important to me, so if it has to be a case by case it should be. A much more severe punishment for any who take it to the extreme or take advantage of it.
I have a DNR on file and have talked about it to my family so they could all be aware in the even the unforeseen happens.
Oh Daniela I CAN MAKE THAT. I found so many different recipes for it so I made it so many different ways, I love making that dish. Once I figure out how to grow my veggies rather than slaughter them as they grow I bet it will taste even better fresh from the garden.
RE: Animal rescue no kill and no charge
I hope people hear you rescues are a wonderful program. So heartbreaking to know so many just abandoned their pets.
