Your 20 pound cat would roll over laughing at my 3 pouond dog who would not even recognize or acknowledge the cat.
I had a dog once that had an imaginary pregnacy. She made a nest to have her litter, then she cared for her imaginary pups for awhile then she popped back to normal as if it never happened.
Cool story about the Dad Dog taking over after Momma passed.
I was a stickler for for my team to use the same terminology and title files in a strict format. Then in inside each client's folder I wanted everyone to follow a standard procedure when saving a document.
I dictated that when I was a Partner, after I sold and became an employee, the boss and I were on the same page so everyone had to follow the same rule. Sometimes I love rules, especially when many are involved but I will also be the first to admit, I can break rules.
I'm sorry for your loss as well but glad your sister was able to give a good euology.
When my sister did one for her young grandson that drowned, she recorded it and played it in the funeral home, otherwise she would have cried too hard delivering it live. Not a dry eye in the house from the recording.
Odd I usually don't sleep well on a full moon but I slept like a baby last night. My DiL told me to go outside and look but by the time night came I totally forgot, rats.
It doesn't seem to matter who is President Trump or Obama, there is always going to be haters.
Neither side has respect only opinions.
I just wish someone would focus and post the good they actually have done as both Obama and Trump have done good for America. After all it is about America right?
Names are hard for me to remember too but I've always used some form of a data base from hand writing something down to electronically saving it most of my life.
I try to load whatever contact program I have with data. When I hear information like their pet,'s name their kids, their likes (Like golf) I enter it into my contacts. I don't just save a phone number I try to save the personal history. Helps make that personal connection like: "how is your kid (naming the child by name)"? They don't even realize you don't remember their name.
It's amazing when Destiny knocks and you get to decide a new route. Fostering is great for both human and animals. Once again I'm impressed.
Having babies around is quite the entertainment as well. Just don't turn into the cat lady. My neighbor has six cats and promises not to get anymore. She loves every one of them, her house always is clean and smells nice, I'm impressed but couldn't do it myself.
It should be very embarrassing to America to have this much corruption in our government but there is still much corruption on both sides of this political latrene.
I commend you and the other couple. I have a great friend here who does catch and release, I'm so in awe of her for that. She would get the mama cat fixed then release it and she would find homes for the babies. She also does bunnies too.
I've handled all my own selling and some buying as well.
Don't forget to look for the homes/condos for sale by just picking up the past due taxes, that's where the real deals are but you need to do the research or call your local tax office on how to. I charged a $125 to clients to do that research. I hated it but they got the good deals. You have to monitor constantly to find them because they are grabbed up fast. There are auctions too.
Great pictures and a wonderful write. I bet you impressed your sister. I remember finding an old abandoned mill on a creek inn Tennessee once and it was exhilarating. You capture the essence, I can take pictures but unlike you and Rogue I can't capture the essence. It always impresses me.
Oh the flooding is bloody awful, so many needing rescues that didn't evacuate. However more people evacuated than the FL people would have. Their evac centers are over flowing.
