In one of my many foolish moments I got into a ghost pepper eating contest with my bro, his friend Tom and me. I was the first pansy to quit, then my bro but Tom kept going. I thought I was going to die even more so the next day with the exit. I will never do a contest again.
My son gave me a bottle of hot sauce that also kicked my a**. One maybe two drops could spice up a pot of chili making it too hot for many people. Bro came over for wings once, I warned him but he poured too much on his wings. Next thing I saw was his head in my freezer, he looks at me asking if his face was bleeding. I was no help because it was just too funny. You can count your sweet bippy that he takes my warnings a bit more serious now.
Mic I think my D-i-L made that Jellyfish Salad. I actually enjoyed it but had I known it was Jellyfish I probably would not have tried it. Mostly I don't ask what it is and when I do I often don't understand because she tells me in Chinese what it is called and I hate pulling out the translator so it is better if I don't ask.
I orderer the organic Yellowstone hotsauce because of that video. My bro and I will enjoy that a lot, the reviews were awesome. If it makes me sweat it will make me wet!
The cherry tomatoes that sprung up this year are now third generation. The bush is tall as I am - I'm not sure what I will do if it keeps growing taller. It is loaded with little green tomatoes. The San Marzanos that I grew from the fresh tomatoes are about a foot long. I took them from inside to the outside and so far they look healthy. I'm using Neem Oil as a bug or disease spray. I don't intend on gardening but I can't resist tending it when they grow on their own. I do want to try cucumbers but it is already way to hot in FL to plant anything.
Molly you are right - I see a worm in my garden then I'm happy as it aerates the soil.
My neighbor has the greenest of thumbs with beautiful flower gardens but I can't convince her to grow herbs or veggies. She doesn't want to fight the bugs and diseases.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the San Marzanos to yield as that fresh tomato knocked my socks off.
Thanks for all the kind words and comments, it surely brings a big grin to my face.
Just so you know I bought my Mom about six filet mignons from Costco where quality meat is sold. That was her Mother's Day gift (broke my piggy bank mind you) and for her 85th Birthday the other day I bought her two gallons of her favorite quality ice cream fthat she can Not afford as well as avacado cups (a box of 14) as she tries to eat avacados every day (brain food). My baby sister has put Mom in kid's clothes that fit. At least I know she can use it and it is a treat.
I do try and cook for them but I have a really hard time cooking blan, I do however take her out once in awhile.
Funny thing is Dad's nurse does't speak English and Mom doesn't speak Spanich but the phone translates. However Dad speaks Spanish so him and the Nurse can talk. Then Dad talks to Mom in Spanish and the confusion spills out.
Yeah that's the ticket - we are all giving recognition not requesting change. Mimi must be Mimi so we can all continue to Love the Mimi.
It is pretty impressive in the online world for a blog to get written about someone and there is not one negative post from a troll. That doesn't happen often.
Hey Jim the same implies to me - I get to do what I want to and I want to ask why. Looks like I'm not the only one and if she answers me or not I will be satisfied.
I agree with Abigail although I'm sorry going to Malaysia is delayed it may be a blessing in disguise to see some of what America's sites have to offer. I know running up and down the west coast is an amazing mind blowing trip as long as you don't have an itinerary and just do what feels good at the moment. Don't rush anything. Arizona and Utah offer some breath taking sites. Crater lake in Oregon is pretty - Mt St Helen's can knock your socks off. Although I've never been I suppose Niagara Falls is mind blowing. No matter what you do, a person like you will just have fun doing it, it's in our nature. So when you can't be where you love then love where you are!
I hope your friend recovers quickly with quite an interesting story to tell from here on out. I can't imagine not being more afraid to go to a dentist now. That dental office should give her free dental for life. I hope she has a good AGGRESIVE lawyer.
