I haven't been on this site long, just a couple years and I have never had any man be anything but nice to me. Physical attraction is one thing but chemistry is important too. I've noticed some have put on their profiles 'friends first...then see where it goes' that's a very good idea.
I have blogs removed..even comments removed. It's nice to know someone cares enough about their personal agenda to read the blogs. Honestly I would pass on that job. Bloody boring.. most are.
Memories...I remember Curt Flood playing for the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. If there was a game on we always had the radio playing. I remember the first time my gpa got to watch a game on tv. He had never been to a Cardinal game and tv coverage was pretty good back then. You could not pry him away from that tv.
I like all of them, but the redtail hawk is my favorite. I used to say hello to one on my way to work every day. I don't know if it was a male or female but would be on the same high wire in the same spot every day, looking for field mice.
"Hey you guy are safe, I just had Mikey the golfer for lunch, you know Mikey who will eat anything, well I called his bluff, you chaps have a nice day"
I hate when they crack jokes and laugh before they give you the anesthesia. I want serious people doing my colonoscopy. But by then I really don't have a choice and it's hurry up please with the anesthesia...lol
God’s Perfect Timing In the midst of hardships, we tend to feel our prayers and cries to God aren’t being heard because we may not see an immediate change in our situations. This is a misconception of how our relationship with God actually should be. We are to put our all our trust into God’s hands, after all, “God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.” 1 John 3:20. And just because we do not see an immediate change doesn’t mean God never heard you, because He has!
God’s timing is always perfect, even when we cannot see it!
He Is Patient With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
What we may comprehend as seeing a slow response is due to God not listening to us, we are not taking time to be patient. God is patient with us and we in return should be patient with him.
It is very easy to compare ourselves to others and wonder why something has come through for them but it has yet to happen for us. We need to understand that there is a purpose and reason for something not happening or not changing. I feel it is us that needs to be doing the changing, starting with being patient.
Before tanning beds, everyone laid outside and got their tans. I remember falling asleep outside in NJ and getting a severe burn. We usually wore as little as possibly especially on the top because we didn't want any tan lines. We lived on the ocean and I walked the boardwalk to go to work every morning, the sun rising on the ocean is beautiful. That was the only time I ever saw the beach without being packed with people. There were always a few people fishing and that was it.
Jenny you write about so many things that touch me, emotionally. The verses for the songs for Easter, I've never heard them before, they could be beautiful poetry just as well.
Jim, I've been in NJ in April, no one is laying out yet. There is only summer two months out of the year, I believe it was July and Aug. I remember July for sure. I remember the big victorian houses sitting empty until July then everyone would come back for two months then leave again. I think you made that story up..just a guess on my part. Wish away till all your wishes come true.
