First and fore most, you don't know me. You have no idea about me except what you read into everything I write. From the things I have witnessed and experienced, I feel I'm on the right track and nothing you can write will change my mind.
You said yourself that you were only here to put a "boot" into religions. No one is going to take you seriously because you act like you know everything and I know you don't know everything. You said you have been kicked out of Bible study groups so you just brag about causing trouble. I wouldn't have kicked you out of my group I'd let you talk until you were finished unless you threaten people then I'd have you removed. Everyone is entitled to speak their mind, it doesn't mean you will change any ones point of view...so there's really no harm in letting you talk.
B559..you want to argue ..you've hit a dead end street here. I won't argue about things that I don't know for sure. You're never too old to learn something new, but then before you proclaim it you have to prove it to yourself to the best of your ability.
It takes nothing away from God.. he is with us every day. I've always felt that anyway. That's why it was easy for me to believe that God,Jesus and the Holy Spirit were one. I looked at it like we are made in his image..body, soul and spirit.
B559 ..I didn't know you were wanting to argue, I thought we were having a conversation. I'm not a Bible scholar but I have read it. I still don't see your point. The word Nephilim which I assume you think means giant, in the Hebrew translation it means fallen one. Sorry, I still don't see your point.
So if God being celesteal conseved Jesus from Mary a terestal then Jesus would be a giant and an abomination.
I don't understand how you figure he would have been a giant and an abomination. That makes no sense at all. He was perfect, and he didn't get to stay long. 33 years is not very long compared to some in the Bible. He was here for a reason and they killed him. BUT God was in control so if he was not to die at that time he wouldn't have. He completed his task. Then the Holy Spirit took over.
If it's easier to understand...God used a different plan. He's God he can do that.
Harb why would you tell people to do that? Are you afraid they may learn to treat people with respect and kindness maybe even garner some hope and be able to thrive in this life. Apparently you cannot prove there is a God or there isn't a God. oh wait I know ..misery loves company.
I'm so glad to see that, it makes me happy that he had our troops on his mind and not impeachment. What a great surprise...and I'm sure the parents of those brave men and women will remember this on election day. They were happy he came to visit and he was honored to be there.
B. 559 ..Below is what Paul said to the Philippians. Now a lot of people don't agree with everything that Paul says and that's fine..Paul is just a messenger and if you believe him or not does not even matter. What he says is what he feels that he has been urged to share. Even the first line. "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding" tells us that no one can understand it. Each person has to experience God's peace for themselves. It makes no difference if anyone else believes or not...because God works with each person individually, no two people will have the same experience.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable— if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— think on these things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.…
Jim I find it refreshing that you let people discuss on your blogs. It makes for a better blog experience.
Tighter borders ?? Despite caging children, more Mexicans crossed the border during Trump's 3 years, than the 3 years previous.
You're right they cut through the wall and came on in, but think about this for a moment. They cut through the wall ... they would have to have some heavy duty power tools to do that. If they can afford power tools, why come over here? Because they have family over here. It used to be that the man in a family would go ahead and set things up then the rest of the family would go to him. I lived in El Paso for a few years and there were lots of Mexicans, no one gave it a thought whether they were legal or not. Most had green cards so they could work and go back and forth.
I don't think they believe their kids will be taken away, because they are thinking they will not be caught.
First I would of course wonder if it's really him, but wouldn't say it. Then he would say, remember that day in May. Then I'd probably start crying and telling him thank you, thank you, thank you. Then I'd think to myself 'I wonder where my ex is located' Then God would say don't worry I've still got your back..and I'd say thank you again. I believe I'll be saying thank you a lot. Oh wait God why did you have to take my baby sister back, I know it was for a good reason, but I need to hear it.
OUCH!!! not my favorite place to go. My dentist just retired and his dad retired about 10 yrs ago. They were both good dentists, they worked on 3 people at the same time. The dad was always Mr.cool, nothing phased him. His son, just the opposite. I was fine when I went in and a nervous wreck when I came out. I haven't been to the new dentist yet, I saw him a few times working with my old dentist, he looks like he's about 12, that will service him well when he gets 50 or 60, now not so much.
Gordon Sondland was the only one I saw yesterday, none today, been too busy. Sondland actually said quid pro quo but he wasn't talking about Trump and Biden. He never heard Biden's name mentioned at all. But yet he thinks he was in the loop. It was like going on a roller coaster ride. Then towards the last he just started throwing everyone under the bus. Then he didn't know anything, he just wanted to get the heck outta there before he lost his job, which he may have already lost.
