We're allowed to vote however we choose. Some research the candidates and some vote strictly by party.
I have had a friend who was a military veteran, unable to work, on disability, not old enough to collect social security, was willing to vote for someone in his state who vowed to reduce funding for retirement benefits. When I explained what his future could be like, he didn't care as he was supporting his party lines.
The reality is... realtors have inside information with banks and mortgage companies so properties are scooped up the day they hit the market.
The realtor I worked with said they already know before hand and legally, the properties have to be listed, but savvy buyers have already secured deals the moment they go up on a foreclosure list.
Kal, it runs a pattern of characters in black ink across the documents making them unreadable. The website states (unlike shredded documents) they can be recycled. I'm not sure why shredded documents couldn't be recycled.
Dictionaries vary, but I've found that 'Native American' refers to the Indigenous peoples of the Americas... They inhabited the Americas before the arrival of European settlers in the 15th century.
Thanks to Columbus who thought he reached India, called them Indians.
I was told that the US government relocated many African slaves to Indian reservations. That created mixed blood African Americans, many of which who can prove their lineage are entitled the same reparations as the Native Americans.
Single... is that the real issue here? I doubt you scan women's profiles but of the blogging community, I estimate that 30% are married, 10% are separated (still married) 50% aren't looking to be in a relationship. That leaves 10% who are single/divorced and looking. I saw a few looking for a 3-way affair in the mix.
I blogged lots of times for all the struggles of being divorced and in the dating mill, hoping to find a woman to click with. Times when I was $30K in debt, switched jobs a few times. Back then, dating women who expected dinner on a first date... you didn't get a chance for a coffee meetup. Do you want to hear more about the failures? 4 to 5 new contacts every week.
It must have been 12 years ago I met a woman who was 50 miles north of me. I drove to her city for a coffee meeting. We both liked what we saw and I suggested lunch instead of coffee, so we went to a nearby restaurant. We talked for nearly 2 hours but had to leave as we each had other things to do. She hugged me in the parking lot and expressed how she was so happy to meet me. I called her for a date and she told me I lived 'too far away' for a relationship and didn't want to see me. She's still on that site and updated her photos not long ago... in 12 years, she hasn't found her 'mister right'
1) I dislike the look of knee length cargo pants. (and they are overpriced, some more expensive than slacks)
2) I was actually looking for tennis shorts. Usually only found in pro shops at twice the cost of cargo shorts.
3) The length I wanted was found in another department. Women shorts. Not knowing what women's size compares to men's sizes, I held an 18 and later found the 12 to be the correct size.
4) If my butt fits size 12, there must be something wrong about the labeling.
suzie, I'm sorry you feel that way about me, when all I stated was how some political and religious blogs invite differences of opinion that often start arguments. It was an assessment/observation... actually humorous with no intent to change or repress anyone of their actions. You perceived it was my attempt of teaching members how to blog, then I disagree. Also, nowhere in any of my blogs did I suggest comment aren't welcome.
1) Thanks for your comment. 2) Don't be confused. 3) I don't know what 'sheep blogging' is, can you cite some examples? 4) As blog OP you have every right to limit the length of your blogs, delete offensive or inflammatory comments... it's often recommended to do some censoring when someone tries to derail the focus of your blog. That could be argued either way as your own level of discretion may be totally different than other members. 5) Typically locking your blog is a signal all contributing parties had their say 'enough is enough' or it's run it's course and nothing more needs to be said. 6) I wasn't upset by either blog. 7) I fail to see why you thought something in either of those blogs upset me. 8) Nearly every one here knows how to 'back door' a locked blog and continue to make comments. 9) There are a few members who strike the first blow on opposing comments. That's part of the runaway formula and creates a venue for tit-for-tat where others jump in all supporting their side. 10) It's purely my observation and not personal.
