The number of gun owners in America...

There's a category 3 hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean headed for the East coast of the US. The weather center is sending out a warning.

There are some inflammatory comments on my blog that may get blown away.
I'm sending out a warning...

REVOLVER...

I played music (mostly bass guitar) professionally for more than 10 years.

The concept around the Fender (Jazz) bass was to make it possible for upright bassists to play gigs without having to lug around a full-size acoustic bass.

Iconic bassist James Jamerson had switched to electric and his 'one finger' style was reminiscent of an upright bass. That was around the early 1960's and because he was a studio musician, much of his work was uncredited.

Carol Kaye who claims she was on an estimated 10,000 recordings over a career of 65 years didn't receive credits as she was a (hired hand) studio musician. Carol who originally was a guitarist use used a pick.

I believe both bassists used the foam dampening under the chrome bridge cover that was standard for Fender basses of the time.

I know the foam deteriorated and had to be replaced. Many players removed the bridge cover and placed strips of foam between the body and strings.

The purpose of the foam was to make the sound more like an upright bass.

REVOLVER...

The Rickenbacker has a deeper tone with more sustain.
Comparison:

Both guitars have flat-wound strings for less brightness.
I read John Lennon often played some of the bass lines when McCartney played piano.
He used a Fender bass.

Interesting note: Yes bassist Chris Squire used a Rickenbacker with round-wound strings for a brighter sound.

REVOLVER...

TAXMAN written by George Harrison in protest against high tax rates for top earners.

The number of gun owners in America...

That's the point of my blog.
Not every American owns a gun, but for those who have guns, it's several.

RE: Has Trump made himself ineligible for any elected office?

I'm feeling faint... is it possible we actually agree on something?

RE: Has Trump made himself ineligible for any elected office?

It's started:

Colorado lawsuit: 14th Amendment bars Donald Trump from ballot.

A lawsuit filed Wednesday by six Republican and unaffiliated Colorado voters seeks to remove Donald Trump from the presidential ballot, asserting that he is disqualified from public office for giving aid or comfort to insurrectionists on Jan. 6, 2021.

RE: Has Trump made himself ineligible for any elected office?

Again you are wrong. I never stated that I hate Trump.

What I like about Christie is he can focus on a topic and speak about it logically. He knows law and he knows government. He doesn't come to the table without experience.

RE: Has Trump made himself ineligible for any elected office?

Back to the original question...
Many say yes.

Enrique Tarrio gets 22 years...

I hate to think what would have happened if Pence had been assassinated. Having seen a few videos, he was wise not to allow secret service to take away from the capitol.

RE: Has Trump made himself ineligible for any elected office?

Have you heard Chris Christie speak?
Sadly he doesn't have the campaign finances or the drive over the other Republicans trying for the party nomination.
He's clear, logical and doesn't try to run a campaign on BS.
I'm registered no party affiliation (NPA) so you won't see me running to the polls.

Anyone notice that cocoa doesn't readily mix with cold milk?

Enrique Tarrio gets 22 years...

I'll bet you rooted for the villain in the movies...

You often read into things that don't exist. For example:
Did I state either way if I was happy or sad that Enrique was found guilty of seditious conspiracy?
Since I didn't, I'd like to thank you for deciding my opinions and emotions without me.

Good work !!!!
thumbs up

What are R's that you say Ken and Chatillion claim to be. That needs some explanation.

Jabbed with what?

Singer Jimmy Buffett dead at 76...

Thanks for the correction. The initial reports stated Lymphoma.

Some links:

Bad news for Smash Mouth singer Steve Harwell...

Steve entered hospice care for liver failure on September 3 and sadly passed away on September 4.

1978 not 1975, typo... sorry.
Some friends bought the Radio Shack TRS-80 released in 1977 and Commodore PET came out in 1978.

Low... your 'morning logic' is so awesome.
That kinds rhymes with Steely Dan's album Pretzel Logic.

Cloth towels?
Been there with laundry, soap, bleach, dryer.
Nothing to gain.

Many of my clients are a hour drive so I pee before leaving.
Next suggestion?
Don't make it a funnel and 4 feet of garden hose. I knew a trucker who had no time for crowded rest stops.

$6 lunch at the local Chinese restaurant, included a drink and desert. Many of my coworkers would go there.
They closed business since COVID.

How so?

Is it telling that America is a country raised on violence?

The number of gun owners in America...

I totally understand the logic about the need for specialized weapons.
The same applies to fishermen with different types of rods, reels, line weights, hooks, live bait versus flies.
Guitarists with string thicknesses, single pole pickups, humbuckers, solid body, hollow body...

It looks like Jeffrey had a gun for every day of the week, am or pm.

Singer Jimmy Buffett dead at 76...

Earlier today I read that Buffett died after a lengthy skin cancer battle.
He was apparently diagnosed with the disease four years ago and it turned into lymphoma, which was ultimately the cause of his death.
A close friend stated, “He lived his life in the sun, literally and figuratively,”

Are you proud of these boys...

I'm told Dominic Pezzola is very photogenic.

They're not going to jail, they are going to prison. The bars there are thicker.
