Possession of stolen Israeli artifacts...

Butcher, if Biden wins, it's 4 more years. If he dies, vice president Kamala Harris becomes president, making her the first female president in American history.

Because she was the first lady, It's been stated that Nancy Reagan quietly ran the white house when president Ronald Regan had issues with Alzheimer's and they repressed it from the news media.

Catwalk... no updates?

This photo came over today. The designer and client are very happy. Only a few details are needed to be finished. Large handles on the tall closet drawers, smaller handles on the dresser, adjust the drawers and doors. The mirror guy has to install mirror inserts on the tall doors. Not in the photo... they didn't finish the electrical. Install the TV and the lights inside the closets come on when any of the doors are opened.

I went through my archive and found a photo of the original closet.

The doors were so difficult to move they usually left them open.

Possession of stolen Israeli artifacts...

Okay, steering back to the topic of this blog:
Possession of stolen Israeli artifacts...

I read this morning that Trump will make the artifacts available for return.
And so ends a happy story...

Possession of stolen Israeli artifacts...

I don't recall him saying that.

We didn't have the same opinion about Trump and respected each others belief.
Sort of an unspoken rule. We didn't attack each other for that.
I will say I was TOTALLY SHOCKED at his Facebook account and how he was so sucked into the Trump movement.

Right now America's focus is on Trump and what is going to happen with the indictments. We have a man who is running for president and the leader to win the Republican nomination. Timing is everything now and he's teetering on prison or possibly becoming a president and washing all his sins away. At that point, he will make Hitler look like a schoolboy.

I haven't followed Biden(s) or the Democrats so my silence doesn't mean I support that. It's not accurate to say my silence is a non-admission.
Have you noticed I haven't commented on the Ukraine saga? Same thing. I haven't been following that topic.

Catwalk... no updates?

I don't have photos of the finished work, but my concept drawing for a wall-to-wall wardrobe with dresser and TV unit is below. I matched the entry doors and the designer will have someone install mirror in the panels. They didn't ask, but someone should add a full length mirror to the back of the far right door as it faces the windows and has the best natural lighting.

gone, I'll hopefully get to that video tomorrow. My daughter texted me to watch ACTIVE MEASURES documentary on YouTube and it's nearly 2 hours long.

Catwalk... no updates?

Yes, most of the time. I tell the contractor not to make a pony wall for plumbing & electrical. The main reason is they usually get the location and finished dimensions wrong. Parts like corner bead have to be removed.

Ideally, my people construct a ribbed structure that gets anchored to the floor. We clad the sit-down side with our finished panels, cut for outlets and plumbing. All of it passes code and we have control of the location and shape should it need to be moved a little.

When possible, I'm onsite when they snap lines on the floor prior to the framers starting walls. That is the perfect time for me to mark the floor for any changes that didn't get noted on the architectural plans. If they didn't get the instructions and install their wall before I arrive, I have them omit the drywall and work with existing conditions.

One renovation project had a huge island with microwave, ice maker, veggie sink and garbage disposal. I spray painted the outline and locations of the appliances, electrical and plumbing locations. My shop drawings with specific dimensions for rough framing were taped to the walls. They trenched the floor for water and drain. When I returned to inspect, they ignored the drawings and my marks and put the drain OUTSIDE of the island location. The GC made the plumber go back, chip out the slab and move the pipes to the location I specified.

Technical Difficulties...

It's been discussed many times. Matchdoctor (MD) was around for for decades. Many of the members here immigrated when the site closed.
In many ways it was the same as CS and in many ways it was different.
Blogs, forums, at one time they had a chat room with private messaging, friends lists, etc.

Members could leave comments on other members profile photos.

We have 'likes' you can add to blogs and comments, they had Kudos.

Why it closed has many versions.
There was no waiting period to blog or make forum comments. People who were bounced by the moderator often reappeared within minutes after being ejected. One guy was a terror creating havoc and couldn't be blocked. Scammers were coming faster than administration could delete.
It was a free site and paid (gold) membership opened some privileges for messages and a few other things standard membership didn't support.

Technical Difficulties...

I was working. Making drawings for an upcoming project.

The thought was if I blog about it "This would be the perfect blog for my stalker to whack me"

Looks like I'm right!

Technical Difficulties...

gone, good morning...
I was unaware of the site Datehookup, never a member.

Regarding technical issues, it took a few weeks for them to sort out problems when MD changed servers. Most hosting sites have dozens of mainframe computers all linked together and the data stored can be dynamic and not all on one mainframe. If some data or programming code had a specific (physical) address and got moved to a different storage location, all the pointers were looking in the wrong place so the site had lots of error messages and turned up 'file not found' and programmers had to index the data to the new location.

Speculation is some of that could be happening here if one mainframe went offline and reverted to a backup while the system was reattaching the new location.
Just a guess...

RE: Cost Of Living

I'm sure there is some connection, maybe the banks are feeling a loss in business. I'm receiving 10 times more credit card offers than usual. All have some cash bonus to sign with them.

All the experts on carbon fiber are making videos now...

Exactly. I thought Stockton Rush had a degree in aerospace engineering.
Maybe that was the problem. Spaceships are designed to be in zero atmosphere...

The Titan assembly was only held together with glue and no mechanical fasteners.

Rear window louvers...

Lots of glass on hatchback editions.
I had a Nissan Sentra Hatchback with louvers and my wife had a 200SX Hatchback with louvers.
Somewhere along the way we had a Nissan Pulsar sedan that didn't have a problem with the rear window. It was only the hatchback models where the sloped back took the heat from the sun.

The Sentra looked like the photo:

Patriots: Mark Ponder and others...

Yes, there's talk about that now.

Patriots: Mark Ponder and others...

The December date was intentional to give his attorneys ample time to prepare their defense. Certainly, they would be asking to forget the whole thing since he's most likely to be representing the Republican party in the 2024 election!

Patriots: Mark Ponder and others...

I'm trying to avoid stories about RFK Jr.
He's made a few crazy statements lately.

Patriots: Mark Ponder and others...

Top story today: Trump has been informed he's the target in a probe of efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

Trump has responded via his social media site Truth by calling the prosecutor Jack Smith 'deranged' and angry he's got 4 days to appear before a Grand Jury.

Serious business now, no joke.

RE: Cost Of Living

Around here...
Prices for eggs are coming back down.
Seasonal fruits are also returning to normal prices.

Some paper products have jumped up 50%

Patriots: Mark Ponder and others...

Ahh... I was saving that "Brainwashed" link for Grandsiozzie

Patriots: Mark Ponder and others...

54 year old Audrey Southard-Rumsey, found guilty of seven charges, called prosecutors "liars." A judge sentenced her to six years in prison.

"Prosecutors say Southard-Rumsey was in the thick of the action on Jan. 6, posting selfies from the Capitol, calling for a revolution on social media, and using a flagpole to threaten a Capitol Police sergeant..."

Rear window louvers...

Thanks!
In 1973, I bought some metallic window tint and installed on my Honda car.
Do it yourself kit with a spray bottle, squeegee and special liquid adhesive you added a drop to distilled water. Also, there was a brush-on sealer for the edges that came in a bottle like nail polish.

The windows in my condo that face the west were tinted long before I bought the place and blistered and faded. I've got white polystyrene insulation panels covering them between the glass and mini-blinds.

Rear window louvers...

Everyone has a reason for car options. Their appearance doesn't bother me, it's the benefit of having protection from the sun. A friend bought a new KIA last week and paid $600 for window tinting that included the long sunroof.
The problem with tinting is difficulty seeing at night, it only lasts a few years before the bubbles appear and the glass gets hotter having tint on it.

I'm still looking around for external louvers... possibly a generic short style would work.
Nothing yet on the interior variety.

$130 for some that fit a Dodge charger. Maybe one that fits a VW with curved glass could be modified slightly.

Something like this would be perfect:

RE: God Himself Could Not Sink This Ship

Here's an interesting tidbit (if true) about secrecy and using the Titanic exploration as a coverup to another mission.

My other blog about the Titan implosion has disappeared, so I'll add to this one some additional findings.

I see more videos on the Titan subject online daily.
The Coast Guard knew what had happened on the first day but were expected to wait until the craft was located.

Chris Christie...

Very, very doubtful. Considering all the claims that Trump isn't right for the job.

New interview:

"Every time the radical left Democrats, Marxist, Communists and Fascists indict me, I consider it to be a great badge of honor and courage... I'm doing it for you. I'm being indicted for you, better me than you, right?"

His audience really sucked up that lie... didn't they?
"We" didn't steal classified documents... HE DID.

Maybe election denier Kari Lake, who has been seen snuggling up at Mar-a-Lago would like the opportunity as a running mate. That is if she doesn't run for the Arizona state senate run this fall.

Chris Christie...

Let's not make it appear that my opinion is the deciding factor.

While I'm not in favor of pouring millions to aid Ukraine, there should be be some options to this. It's been said that Trump's claim to end the war in 24 hours would be to stop the aid and tell Putin he can have Ukraine.

Isn't that what your news feed says?

Chris Christie...

Like most Trump supporters, I get my news from Facebook and Twitter...

Two wrongs don't make a right...

It would appear America doesn't have anyone qualified who wants to step up for the job.

Chris Christie...

Christie is right with all his statements about Trump. He's not what the Republican party stands for. It's all about Donald J. Trump and not the American people.

Trump is running a campaign of hate. If you listen to his rallies, it's not about 'the wall' or 'better and cheaper healthcare' or other campaign promises. All he talks about is how he did nothing wrong with classified documents.

Hopefully the people being polled will come to their senses when it's time to vote.
