The Never Trumpers...

jac, I'm not sure why it was blocked.

A different link to the video is attached to this Yahoo story:

Hopefully that one works.

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

For me, 24 hours later was the magic number...

The sirens...

I think they installed a system that doesn't have a timer. It's on all the time.

Loyalty pledge...

"Haley is not planning to endorse Trump in her announcement, according to the people with knowledge of her plans. Instead, she is expected to encourage him to earn the support of the coalition of moderate Republicans and independent voters who supported her."

Loyalty pledge...

News this morning... Nikki is dropping out!

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

We're traveling uncharted waters... inquiring minds want to know.

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

I'm inclined to believe that. It's 20 hours later and I'm still locked out.

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

It's past midnight and I'm still locked out from sending messages... that 'next day' theory didn't work.

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

So is this 10 per day message limit 24 hours from my last message or until midnight?
sleep

Loyalty pledge...

Me? What did/did not I do?

It will have to wait... I already used up my 10 messages today!

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

30 day notice to stop billing. Do it on a credit card so you have some recourse to dispute the transaction.

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

Duh.. I posted the link on my blog.
Yeah, two tiered Premium

So it's 10 per day on free, 20 per day on monthly and 60per day on yearly.

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

Ten is the limit...

Daily limit reached for sending messages
Looks like you have reached your daily limit for sending messages.
Switch to a premium subscription plan to get an increased limit on daily messages.

Like Johnny Carson used to say: "I did not know that"

So the question is: Will someone be able to test the other 2 tiered premium system?

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

What you are saying there are 2 levels of premium with the amount of daily messages and that yearly subscription gets more messages than monthly?

Got a link?

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

The amount of messages a free member can send has most definitely changed.

A change? You may be the first to have reported it.
On my 'Upgrade to Premium' blog, Dani_290 said it's 20 per day.
Her profile is closed so I'm unable to ask if she noticed a change.
The website states premium gets you 60 per day.

The new membership is likely down because with such restrictions on sending likes and mails, this site is a considerably less viable option for scammers.

CS is still advertised as a FREE site. There are no restrictions in joining that would affect new membership. Do you monitor the amount of new women joining each week?

TKSpectre is correct in his assumption that the drop in spam mail he's receiving is likely a function of the new restrictions placed on non-paying members.

A few months BEFORE CS announced premium membership, I noticed a drop in new members AND less activity of hits, likes and messages.
Maybe seasonal or a sign of the times, but the SAME THING is happening on another site I'm a member of. Ebb and flow unrelated to premium membership.

As they say, YMMV
(Your Mileage May Vary)

Loyalty pledge...

jac, are you feeling okay today?

RE: What is this new "PREMIUM?"

New membership appears to be down and that would be a reason why you are receiving less spam messages.
The amount of messages a free member can send hasn't changed.

Premium allows for more messages daily than free and it's doubtful many scammers would pay for Premium, therefore if Premium members are taking advantage to be able to send more messages, the percentage (on this site) of real messages would increase.

If paid members don't see anything in your profile that interests them, chances are they would not send you a message.

Audio Compression...

My bass has active pickups so I always remove the plug then not playing.
The BOSS is said to run for 3 hours on battery.
It would be my only pedal and probably be on top or near the amp as I don't intend to be clicking it on and off. I wasn't planning to run power to a pedal board.
Decisions, decisions...

Audio Compression...

I saw a 'shootout' between the BOSS CP-1X against the MXR Dunlop Bass compressor.
Several different styles and bass guitars and to me the MXR had a clearer sound.

Both under $200, the plus with the BOSS is it has a self-contained 9 volt battery so I don't need a power supply with only one pedal.
I do have a battery connector with the correct polarity to run a pedal without plugging wall power.

RE: ULTRA PROCESSED FOODS

In America, it's the FDA.
"The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is responsible for protecting the public health by assuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, our nation's food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation."

The Hotel California lyrics trial...

Agree... if you have a buyer, the price isn't crazy.
If I recall various original Beatles manuscripts had gone up for auction fetching amazing prices. Those were legit.

Hopefully, Don Henley wins his case and recovers his original documents.
I then wonder if photo copies will appear on eBay!

Class action suit...

Can I interest you in a Zoot suit?

Songs I don't get tired of hearing...

Moody Blues - Nights in White Satin
Live performance with a full orchestra.

She didn't follow my latest design... oops!

I get it, especially if they didn't pay attention to pattern direction, lining up stripes or used scissors that needed sharpening.

Before I was born, my mom stayed home to raise my brother and did piecework sewing girls gym suits. They would bring her boxes of all the parts pre-cut. The boxes were numbered for the style and size. They sometimes, accidentally sent her boxes that were intended for a larger size or different style mixed in with the orders she was to put together, delaying her ability to keep up with the demand.

Audio Compression...

Track, I saw a video demo on the BOSS CP-1X that actually made sense.
The guy was playing a Telecaster and picked lightly, nearly inaudible, then strummed hard.
He did the same licks with the compressor on and you can clearly hear the quiet notes that were raised to a good level and the highs didn't peak out of range.
thumbs up

Audio Compression...

I dislike concerts in large venues because the sound systems they use are TOO FREAKIN' LOUD.
Seriously, when the volume is so loud that is blurs your vision, there is no enjoyment in listening. ALWAYS I go to performances with industrial strength ear plugs.

I'm avoiding oranges and orange juice due to the sugar content.
After 3 rounds of steroids (remember the itchy leg episode) my sugar levels are way up, so I'm avoiding 'all things sugar' including flour & bread products. Sadly, that includes Biscotti cookies, pasta and pizza.

You left out model helicopters... Batteries charged and I'm heading to the flying field for a few hours.

I have two Acoustic B100C amplifiers with 4-band EQ and a notch control. I'm already getting the tone I want. Adding a graphic equalizer (to an amp with a graphic equalizer) doesn't make sense to me.

Most 6-string basses have a low B and a high C.
I own a 6-string bass and had some custom gauge strings and go from E to E, with guitar tuning. The luthier who worked on it took those strings off and put a standard set on, so I'm going to restring it... sooner than later.
Because of the size of the neck, a 6-string bass has amazing resonance.

I took a quick look at the BOSS CP-1X Compressor effects pedal and didn't see it mentioned being useful for bass. I'm out on appointments today and will do more research later. Thanks for mentioning it.

54 years ago, I was playing through a SUNN Coliseum bass amplifier, 440 watts RMS and 880 watts peak at 2 ohms. Four Electro-Voice 15" speakers in 2 cabinets.

Mine was an early release and had an all silver face.
