For 'us' room temperature is not a variable but a defined constant 'desirable/comfortable' 68F or 20C. In America it is in the range 20-22C or 68-72. There is a phrase 'ambient temperature' which may be more applicable to your thread.

Dlokovic, having not been there in the tournament was not missed a lot, if at all. The women's final was cause for celebration, and the men's likely will be too, though a less popular Russian is the likely winner. Oh, and incidentally, new questions arise over his 'positive test', a convenient but dubious positive as many will agree. Djokovic will emerge with zero credit, yet he is assuredly a historic geat in tennis.

I have indeed cried on two occasions discarded by a love - my first love back in 1964, and another 1994 30 years later. At movies I am hopelessly easy to be manipulated by the directors and my childrens' mother always used to watch my eyes at the movies as some emotional scene took place.
@dedo-dedo let's point out that vaccination is not enforced. But if you want to travel, eat indoors, see a concert, you may need to show a certificate.. That is not the same as compulsory, and no one will pin you down, constrain you, and inject you. Nor is the seatbelt, but if you drive and refuse to wear, similar to refusing vaccination, some privileges may/will be withdrawn. So you cannot come to Australia - and thank goodness that applies to you! I suspect there is a strong argument for your enforced injection.

Hark back a few years to my era - Rod Laver banned from playing in all the grand slams - why? because he needed to make a living and accept playing and prize money - the beginning of the professional era. Rules said no, so he couldn't play. But people like Laver and Gonzales really built the current professional tennis industry. Djokovic profits, and misses out occasionally, poor man! Sitting on the bedside shelf for several years now have been four books. The World of Tiers (Philip Jose Farmer) , Goedel Escher Bach (Hofstadter), A Brief History of Time (Hawking) and Stone Sky Gold Mountain (Riwoe). All have been started, but it is now many years since I spent a day on my back reading at length. I am resolved to finish all four this year! It will take a huge effort of will to lie in and just read. No keyboard in the offing.

@op a curious post - overdue? Studies during 2020 showed that mask-wearing is a risk reduction method, and that N95 is more effective; the reduction factor being 30-40%. Why do you assert this study is overdue and revealing? Of course the nay-sayers came out loudly during early 2020 and they are still barking, but the early studies showed the benefits of combined distancing and masking in reducing transmission. So what have you just added?
