@jac I remember my #2 ex-wife sitting forward to see if I cried at the end of a movie (what movie, cannot remember!) she was looking forward to me crying, clearly. But on the other hand, at the end of '1984' she told me she would never watch another movie with me. Now what do you say about that?

@ed lack of balance and thought is a global phenomenon. If you were to listen to our Question time - which is broadcast on ABC TV here in Australia - you would see thoughtful considered debate never happens. In Canada too I surmise you have this broadcast? Just see and hear what your elected parliamentarians have to say.

@lou^2 'drivel' - a word I see in common with another later thread by the oft deleted rose who by any other name might be 'thorn', perhaps. People do unsheath their claws don't they!?
