Back in Mexico. Yeah

I was at Lake Chapala for three days. I'll see what I can find. I'm taking a bus to Guanajuato in the morning. It's a really cool town. I was there a couple years ago.

LaFonda I tend to live in smaller cities which don't have all the problems of the larger Democrat run cities. I base most of the opinions I have on personal experience with people I work with and live around. The places I have lived have enjoyed good racial relationships. I don't really fully understand where all the hatred in the cities comes from, but I think it is very foolish to pretend it doesn't exist just because the MSM wants to whitewash it to fit their narrative. I think if we are ever going to solve problems we first have to be honest about what the problems really are, and not be afraid to talk about them. I admit there are certain parts of the larger cities that intimidate me and I avoid going there and this is not just a US problem.

I follow a lot of black people on twitter and mostly they are very honest about the issues. Most of them realize they have to take responsibility for their own problems and not rely on white liberals, and they don't consider themselves victims. It gives me hope for the future. Hope that explains it a little.

Jac I think people need to watch it for themselves and form their own opinions. Your opinion has been duly noted.

Glad you watched it Jenny.

That's a tough question to answer LaFonda. What exactly do you mean by prejudice? I'll try and give you a better answer later. Did you watch the documentary?

RE: "Venezuelan “arepas”, world’s best breakfast"

Those arepas look so good Melody and are making me hungry. The third one down looks sort of like pulled pork on cornbread.wave

More than 1.5 billion masks will pollute oceans this year.

Hi LaFonda.......yeah I put it on when I go in a store most of the time. I don't wear it if I'm out on a walking/hiking trail. I don't wear it driving in my car either. I do the social distance thing. How about you?

Does anybody know much about Hungary?

I would never go to a country for that reason BN. scold But about much would it cost for 30 minutes? Asking for a friend.help

The consequences of not finishing the border wall and a president soft on illegal immigation.

Just go away T. Anyone with half a brain or more knows that granting amnesty to illegals, providing free health care and giving out financial aid will attract massive immigration. It doesn't mean the people wanting to come here are bad, but it will mean huge consequences for the US in the long run. Poor people are generally poor for a reason and those type of people are easy for the Dems to exploit by offering up free goodies. The Dems want permanent power and they see illegal immigration as means to achieve it. Most Latino countries don't have any problem dumping their criminals and their poor uneducated people off on the US. If it was a brain drain there would be more opposition to the outward migration in these countries.

The Dems plan on reinstituting catch and release which means people will be allowed to come into the country illegally ........and after taking their name and giving them a date for a hearing on their claim about being refugees .....they will be released into the country. The number that actually show up for their court date is pretty low and they know they can just wait for the next amnesty deal instead of having their claim about being a legitimate refugee denied.

Just don't be surprised when the US starts to look an awful lot like the countries these people were escaping from. doh

Does anybody know much about Hungary?

Hi luna yes I will do all you suggest before traveling to Budapest. I always try and research an area before going there. Meeting people you can look up when you get there helps a lot, especially if you don't speak the local language. I use airbnb a lot when I travel and I look for families that speak at least a little English. I've stayed with more than two dozen hosts that way and all have been good experiences. Having google translate is also a big help. I might add that everyone I've stayed with has left positive reviews on me. I think listening to all the negative people on CS tends to bring out the worst of me as well. I'm pretty nice in real life. smile

Does anybody know much about Hungary?

riz my feeling is that people need to adapt to new countries when they move there. I have friends in Mexico and Guatemala who say people are welcome to come there as long as they don't try and change things. I respect them for that.

Does anybody know much about Hungary?

Edison I had to look roma up. Seems like every rose has its thorn. All and all the great central location and the low cost of living sounds very attractive.

Does anybody know much about Hungary?

Luna I would enjoy having coffee with you anytime. hug

Does anybody know much about Hungary?

Melody your profile is very impressive. I noticed you teach Hungarian and English. Hungary sounds like a very interesting place. I was looking at airbnb and accommodations are quite reasonable for modern flats in Budapest. I hope the COVID vaccines work and travel can resume more normally. Thanks for your reply.

Sounds like a great way to collect more junk you don't need.

Oracle becomes the latest to flee Dem controlled California.

From the WSJ.

Tesla Inc. Chief Executive Elon Musk said he has moved to Texas, taking aim at Silicon Valley and becoming one of the highest-profile executives yet to leave California during the coronavirus pandemic.

He said relocating made sense with Tesla’s new factory being built in Texas. He lamented that California, in his view, had become complacent with its innovators.

Mr. Musk’s companies continue to maintain extensive operations in California, and other tech firms are expanding their presence there. Yet his decision to move underscores a growing discontent, particularly among wealthier tech professionals, with the cost of living in the state, a pre-pandemic real-estate crunch and clogged roads.

Oracle becomes the latest to flee Dem controlled California.

I didn't say he moved his companies to Texas riz. I said he moved to Texas. Read it again.

RE: Face masks.

RE: Harrison Deal

This is from the Atlanta Journal Constitution:

According to Heintzman, Pooler police have not released the exact cause of the crash and are continuing to investigate. She added that others involved in the wreck suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

No one else is really injured. hmmm
